In the last blog, I mentioned how Manny could be used in Displace crossovers without affecting the canon story. However, I neglected to mention when each and and crossover could happen. It wouldn’t make sense for Manny to fighting tooth and nail to save someone, only to just up and leave to help a Displace with an unrelated problem. So I thought of a solution, save points.
Every time you see: [SAVE] in the author notes, that’s when the option to crossover will open. Meaning every crossover will happen at that time until another save point is reached, then every crossover will start at that point. Meaning, Manny (and those accompanying him, will only have the knowledge and memory of anything that happened before that save point.
Remember, if it’s in the Author notes, that’s when a crossover will happen.
So don’t confuse that with and save points in the story. The save points in the story are made by whoever has the most Determination at the moment. The save points in the Author notes are the save points I’m making, which is my way a saying what points in the story that crossovers will happen.
Of course, just because you see a save point in the story, doesn’t mean that a crossover is actually going to happen. It just means I’m opening it.
