My New Year’s Resolution In 2020

Before any of you ask, no I’m not going to do anymore chapters and stories for this year in 2019. I’m mostly burned out and I’m getting my wisdom teeth removed on Monday. At this point, I don’t need to submit anything on this website so I decided to do this blog instead, since we’re entering 2020 in less then a week.

1. Completing Twilight’s Backstage Pass before doing the sequels

I just submitted the 10th chapter yesterday and I’m halfway finishing it. I don’t know how long is going to take me but even in the beginning of 2020, I’m still putting my focus on that and nothing else. Since I made two one shots that take place after this, I need to finish what I started when I was doing Yacht Vacation.

As for sequels, they’re all going to be one shots even if their dependently long. I do have ideas but I’m going to save them once Backstage Pass is over. I’m going to be happy since I don’t have to deal with chapter stories for a long while.

2. Giving more characters the spotlight

When I looked at the episodes, it gave me more ideas to use more characters. Rara who’s Applejack’s friend is an example. Like I said, my ideas will be worth the wait once the time has come. While I’m not good at writing experiences, I’ll do my best to make the delivery right.

However the only character I’m not going to do is Discord. Why? Because of what he did in the 2-Part episode The Ending Of The End. Less said the better.

3. Reaching 300 followers or higher

I know I’m not going to gain a lot of followers because of my lack of writing skills and my Youtube Channel getting in the way. So for the very least, I’m gonna try to reach 300 followers. It will take me years to make it to 500 or 1,000 followers. Granted I could do different things with stories but I can’t do variety like violence. I may like wrestling (WWE) but not writing anything about that. To me it’s stupid.

4. Giving Pony Life a chance

Remember when I wrote that mouthful story last month? Yes I deleted it because I was too harsh and people hated it. I’m gonna watch the first episode once it comes out and see if I can do at least 1 fanfic about it. This is low in my 2020 resolution list so don’t expect me to write one immediately.

5. Reaching up to 75 Stories

I wrote 62 stories at the moment (despite some of unfinished and cancelled) and I’m 13 away from reaching 75. I’m sure I’m gonna make it because without any chapter stories getting in the way (once Twilight’s Backstage Pass is finished), it will be easier for me to process the one shots. Chapter stories always get in the way from writing new ideas, I skipped Halloween and Valentines Day because of this and I didn’t contribute during those times. No matter what happens to me in the new decade, 75 is three quarters always from 100.
