Merry Christmas and Happy Hearth's Warming To All! · 5:46pm Dec 25th, 2019
Today is Christmas Day, a day to spend with family, friends, and loved ones. A day that for some takes on a religious meaning, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. For others it's a time of renewed hope for peace and happiness. And a day to just relax (hopefully). I did obtain a few comics, so expect reviews on them in the next couple of days.
There's no denying that 2019 has been another rough year: It was the year where things ended and among them was the show we'd come to know and love since the start of the decade. It's been quite a ride and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. I can say with confidence that the fandom will thrive even now that the show itself is all done. But 2019 was also a year full of disappointment and heartbreak: We saw Iron Man sacrifice himself against Thanos to bring back the MCU cast wiped out in Infinity War, Sony and Disney quarrel over Spider-Man that briefly put the wall crawler's future in doubt after Far From Home, watched in helplessness as the Notre Dame Cathedral burned (and cheered the news that the fire had been put out before the whole cathedral could be lost), and of course bid farewell to memorable talents and figures such as Peter Mayhew, Tim Conway, Russi Taylor and of course Caroll Spinney. We even lost one of our own in the form of Mythril Moth (famous for his Out of Context Screen Shot Theaters). To say nothing of the political divisions that seemed to grow worse and worse, and renewed concerns over political and economic issues as we saw Britexit come back to life and watched Hong Kong light up with violent protests against Mainland China.
Here's to hoping that after having to endure several years of hardship in the second half of the 2010's, the 2020's (or at least 2020) will put us back on track and give us a good year. In the meantime, let's bid farewell to our decade and to the show with this PMV that's been in the works since 2015.
Merry Christmas/Hearts warming eve!
May this fandom stay strong and continue
We can’t also forget Hiccup and Toothless had to separate for good in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, Rey finally defeating Palpatine in Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, and Elsa and Anna are no longer together in Frozen 2.
5174934 Oh, they are. Elsa still comes by regularly for charades.

I know. I watched the movie.
Happy holidays to you too!

Eeyup.
A belated happy Hearth's Warming/Merry Christmas to you, too. We also can't forget Godzilla: KOTM. It certainly has been a crazy year. Let's see what the New Year brings. The brony fandom will endure.
