I HAVE SO MANY. BLOG CONTAINS SPOILERS
There are a lot of things in Discovering Friendship that are planned out. The issue is that most of them are far flung into the future for the story, but I wanna do them now, but i can't. So Instead I've been working a bit on backstories. one of which being Cheerilee and Jade Filigree(Rarity, SB, and Vinyl's mom).
The two of them first truly meet during a vampire attack on the school Cheerilee works at. Jade 'just happens to be in the neighborhood - foreshadowing wink wink' - and comes to her rescue then teaches her the way of Hunters.
This would bleed into two different storylines.
The reveal of Jade's past and how she came to give up her mantle of Hunter and be the mother of the worlds most dangerous vampires.

How did Cheerilee know she was going to die?
The two of them go through quite a lot together. And I do mean A LOT. I hope it comes as no surprise that the inspiration for them comes from Supernatural, but just as I have put my own twist on the MLP storyline, their story will be their own. I can't say there won't be Angels and Demons. But their main focus is Vampires.
My only issue really at this point is...Where do I even start? Jade was a Hunter long before Cheerilee and her story goes an entirely different direction once she gives up being a Hunter. Cheerilee taking her path towards the Knights and her ultimate fate and Jade entering the world of vampires and of course, her unavoidable destiny.
What made them part ways? What led them to their fates? And just how close were they?
And where does Spike fit into everything?
These are the questions I hope to answer with these background stories.
Oh and I have Spike's Backstory in the works. I might even have a Chapter 1 at the ready.
