    Audiobook Announcement

I'm excited to announce that I'm working on an audiobook for Hooves of Fate. I started with Chapter 63: Rivers. This way, long-time readers of HoF can reorient themselves to the momentum of the story before the upcoming release of Chapter 64 (text) this Saturday.

    The Voice of the People

They can cancel Friendship is Magic. They can cancel Make Your Mark. But they can never silence the voice of the people.

Help! My Heart is Full of Pony! - Solstice · 7:40am Dec 22nd, 2019

Source.

Luna is the princess who understands our suffering - our struggles. She has been there - battled her own demons, and her path has always been one of profound introspection.

As the long night of the Winter Solstice hangs over us, we should think about that. All that we accomplish in our inner lives - in our dreams. Think of the feeling you get when you stand alone on an empty porch at 3am, staring at the Moon.

The longest night of the year belongs to Luna, but it belongs to dreamers too. In a way, those quiet moments are when we are most like ourselves, and not the person our daytime obligations forces us to pretend to be.

It is here, with Luna that we find wisdom and peace.

Tomorrow, the Sun starts its steady path, and each day gets a little bit longer. Yesterday, I wrote an essay about Princess Celestia.

Let's celebrate both princesses. Luna to guide us through our inner turmoil, and Celestia to look to as a bastion of outer strength. These two parts of our lives are such opposites, and yet, so deeply connected.

Discuss.

Sometimes these blogs are pointing out Princess Celestia's necessity for raisins... and sometimes they're things like this. :)
I'm glad we have you here among us. :)

This was a beautiful tribute to Luna and all she does for us and helps us to be. Thank you for your wonderful writing!
