Why Twilight's Backstage Pass Is Going To Be The Last Chapter Story For A While · 3:51am Dec 18th, 2019
In the last three days, I submitted three more chapters of Twilight's Backstage Pass. All I can say is during my time doing the ninth chapter, it sums up onto why chapter stories are getting repetitive. Now before you comment down below, chapter stories is sometimes a good idea. Stories like Teacher Mothers Of The Week made me convinced but unlike that story, Twilight's Backstage Pass barely got any comments and two one shots that takes place after that.
I know it was mostly my intentions to make these two stories involving the holidays but after watching Holidays Unwrapped, I had too. As for comments, I always want to see positive feedback on the stories I continued. But in order to do that, I try to make the chapter interesting but even with that, I always get limited comments.
Let me show you the chapters from this week.
In this chapter, I tried to make the later chapters really interesting. Adagio and Aria manipulate Starlight was something people would be interested (By the way, Starlight Glimmer is going to have a role with The Dazzlings later on.)
Now I still do chapters mainly for filler but I try to make the characters have a propose. Princess Twilight's Yacht Vacation has a lot of those but since this is a sequel, I wanted to do something different. When I submitted this story back in July, I didn't know what to do since I was still doing Yacht Vacation. I was planning this to have 12 chapters but since I'm thinking about it, I decide to make the side characters really important like Microchips. But before I get to that, let's get to the ninth chapter.
This chapter has almost 2,600 words and I was even surprised. If some of you read my stories, you notice that the pacing is sometimes fast. This chapter alone is the reason why I keep doing that.
During the parts where Princess Twilight faced Adagio, the leader of the Sirens took me longer to take it seriously. Since (Even if this an AU story) this is the first time Princess Twilight encountered the Sirens after they've been defeated, I wanted to it in the best in my abilities to have Twilight putting her foot down, while still having Adagio take matters into her own hands later on.
This chapter changed everything from my originally plans because it will make The Dazzlings do something even without their powers. All I can say is that after the next chapter or two, this story would have the Adventure tag (which I put in today) come into play. Getting back to the characters, characters like Microchips and Vignette Valencia (Yes I know what I typed in) are going to do something helpful with the Rainbooms. I have gone this far and I have a few ideas for future chapters for the side characters. Don't worry the main characters will do something.
But now you can understand why I don't want to do anymore chapters stories in the future. I did have some ideas for that formula but later on, it won't work out. For me doing one shots is the only thing that actually makes me happy and get more followers. It's just challenging to make so many readers invested in chapter stories and it took me this long to understand that.
There's so many chapter stories right now that readers can't keep up with other new chapter stories. This is the third chapter story involving Princess Twilight in Equestria Girls and after that, all future sequel stories like the two in this blog will be in one shots.
There are one shot ideas I'm thinking of and I might do Rainbow Dash in my as your girlfriend stories. I really hope you understand that I'm doing everything I can to keep you satisfied and I barely do blogs on this website to express it. Speaking of blogs, sometime later or next month, I'm going to discuss a friendshipping pair that I made last year and now in this year, I made Christmas story involving Twilight and Water Lily.
Really hope Flurry Heart and Auntie Twilight fans can understand what I'm going to say.
I'm sorry--I really want to read your stories, but I just have so many others I'm trying to read, and my life is really busy, so I'm having a lot of trouble finding time! I promise that sometime, I will make it a point to go through and read every single story you have to offer. They look really enjoyable and I can't wait!
