One million published words and AMA · 6:53pm Dec 15th, 2019
So later today, I’ll post the last chapter of Great and Powerful, Darling!, which will also bump my published word count up to one million words. This is the culmination of over four years of writing nonstop, and I’m proud of this achievement.
So I wanted to do something to mark this milestone, but I don’t have a lot of ideas. The only thing that stood out to me as a maybe okay option is to do an Ask Me Anything. I don’t really know if I’m popular enough to do this sort of thing, but I’m gonna do it anyway! This might blow up with me getting like no response, but oh well.
I also don’t know the usual format for these things. So here’s how I’m gonna do it. Leave a comment with your question down below, and I’ll take the time to come up with a solid, well thought out answer. I’ll make a separate blog post with answers sometime after I’ve gotten them all and had time to come up with good replies. I’ll specify who asked what question, but if you want to ask something anonymously, you can send me a PM with your question instead of leaving it in the comments, and I’ll still include it in the public reply, but I won’t include your name or any other identifying things leading back to you (obviously I’ll still know you were the asker, but well, Fimfiction doesn’t have an anon option).
Feel free to ask as many questions as you like. I’m also extremely open to any questions. There’s the obvious of my stories, but like, you could ask about them in comments (still feel free to ask here if you want); the topic of writing in general, be it about my own experiences or tips of any sort; my mental health struggles (I’m autistic and have major depression); my experiences as a queer person (genderqueer transwoman with a hard to peg sexual orientation); or anything at all else you might like to ask me.
I feel like this is going to be met with a chorus of “congrats on the milestone” without any questions (which is also fine!), but what the hell. I adore answering questions, so I might as well give this a shot.
My trouble is I can’t think of anything I haven’t already asked at some point...

I'm interested in your works, your writing make me quite happy, thank you for writing these stories and sharing it with us. Anyways, I don't know any advice on fighting depression, as I myself have this feeling, I just learned to coexist with it, whatever.
Why did you bring up a gender thing? I dunno how to react to this, because I don't know how you feel about being a transwoman as you say, because I'm a male, so I dunno. Gender doesn't matter to me, we're all equal.

Not sure if the question why I brought up my gender was meant for the AMA or just speaking out loud, so I figured I’d answer that here. I brought it up because it’s not something a lot of people know much about, being a transwoman. It’s something that’s by no means unique to me, but is different between me and a lot of people, and so other people might have questions about what it’s like for me. Figured it was worth bringing up so people could ask if they felt like it. Same with the depression, I was bringing it up as something people could ask me about if they’d like (the whole point of this was for people to ask me things, not to seek advice or anything for myself
