The 2010s has been a questionable decade for me · 3:47am Dec 14th, 2019
Here is a timeline on what I've done throughout this decade:
2010-2013 - went to and graduated from college
2014 - unemployed
2015-2016 - took the personality development program at John Robert Powers
2016-2019 - worked for an HR agency near my house
I felt like this decade made me question myself many times on what I want to do in life. The college degree I took was more into politics but I don't let that define me, considering how corrupt the government is in my country. The JRP program helped me get to know myself better and I became more open-minded and opinionated. Yet, I haven't found my true calling.
This month, I decided to resign from work in order to pursue other interests for personal growth. It was an amazing opportunity working there for 3 years and 9 months with a decent wage, but the reason I quit because it's a dead-end job. I have nothing new to learn anymore as the tasks and routine are a repetitive cycle, which made me struggle with depression on a day-to-day basis.
Here are some of my goals for 2020:
1. Take the JRP refresher (free of charge)
2. Attend Nihongo classes
3. Use my spare time to practice calligraphy and post my works on Instagram
4. Go to therapy
5. Find a home-based job that would expand my skills and knowledge so that I don't have to worry about the horrendous traffic in my country
I'm going to achieve these goals one at a time for the sake of my well-being. I do hope that I could turn my hobby into a passion, as well as make a decent fortune out of it to keep me fed and provide a roof over my head.
I support your decision on pursuing something greater, don't let the world weigh you down and keep trucking on. Don't overstress yourself, take one step a time.

Thanks. It means a lot.
Sorry to hear that, but it sounds like you're moving in the right direction!

I just need to have the right mindset and never let inner demons get the best of me.
