Wait they ported the original!? How did they manage that?! The original was made for DOS for Lunas sake! It would have needed a complete Remake to work on modern systems!

Dos-Box stand-alone wrapper, I think it's called. From the end-user perspective it's just some extra text that flashes on screen, but to the program it's actually running on an entire virtual DOS PC in emulation.
...Pretty crazy if you actually stop and think about it.
Anyway, the stand-alone program is actually fully open source, and it's THE reason we've started seeing so many re-releases of old 80-90s titles. Pretty cool stuff, honestly, one of the great unsung heroes of the entire industry.
I can heartily recommend it if you've got any old games kicking around.
