Ghostbusters 2020 Trailer Thoughts + 400 Folllowers! · 3:57pm Dec 9th, 2019
First off everyone, good morning! Before we begin I just wanna say... Thank you all so much, you've helped me get 400 followers, I cannot express my gratitude enough to all of you, the fact I've made it this far... I say that's pretty great. I've come a long way from where I've started, haven't I?
I want to say thank all of you so much for your continuous following, and I hope I can continue to make you all happy with the content I deliver. Now I don't know how to follow up my thanks, but I have two options. 1 is to do another Q+A session, or 2... I try write something that I haven't done before and take a bit more risk. ... by that I mean flat out making a mature story which I have not done before. Granted it probably won't be for everyone, but I can still think about it.
But for now, I wanna talk about something else... now a few trailers for new slew of movies have been dropping a lot recently, and all of which are coming next year in 2020. Some I am very excited for, some I'm... not so much. So far I'm excited to see the new animated Scooby Doo film, Wonder Woman 1984, and the one we're about to discuss right here. Ghostbusters; Afterlife.
Lets take a look.
So I have to be honest... I am...
Freaking. Excited. I haven't felt this excited for a film since Lego Movie 2, Endgame, or Bumblebee. This trailer is giving me that certain excitement that not a lot of trailers can.
Lets break it down, shall we?
First off, we've got Finn Wolfhard (who you might remember as Mike from Stranger Things) coming in as part of the cast. It's funny remembering he dressed up as a Ghostbuster in season 2 of Stranger Things and to see him actually look like he might be one here.
Second; Paul Rudd. Paul Rudd is a win. Paul Rudd is always a win. I hope he will be fun.
Third; this movie actually feels like it's continuing the story of the original Ghostbusters... and it's respecting it. Instead of rebooting everything, this movie acknowledges that a period of time has passed since the original film, and even includes a possible nod at one of the characters being the grandson... of Egon Spengler. ... Please let this be true, any excuse to honor Harold Ramis's memory is good enough for me.
Fourth; I don't know what our entity or monster is, but I am very interested to see who's our villain. ... Oh god, what if it's the Mind Flayer? Or worse; the return of Gozer or Vigo? ... We're dooomed!!!!
Fifth; and my last note... I don't know whether or not this movie is going to be good. Personally, I'm hoping it will (I mean, most of the time I don't want a movie to suck) but even if it's not great, at the very least this movie will be fun. ... Yes, fun. This looks like it could be fun, I think I'll have one hell of a time with this film.
Wheeeee! hehe.
Anyways, that's my thoughts. I hope ya'll will have a nice day today... boy this was a nice surprise to wake up to today. This day's gonna be great.
It's always nice to see a new fun, happy blog from you, Four. It makes me smile. I saw the trailer too, and I think this will be so much better than the 2016 one, even if it does fail, because 2016 was so bad.
Hoping that Ghostbusters: Afterlife is good! Can't wait to see it. Glad to know someone's just as excited for it as I am.

hehe, you silly.
I am really hoping that it will be a good movie. Honestly, with how good the original 2 were, it might be hard to live up to their reputation, but with the cast that we’ve got, it definitely has a shot!
Congrats on the 400 followers.
