Why the hell are they even making this, if they not even including mooshu!? Now I question if the other characters are gonna be there. *sigh* we already had some bad reboot and live-action remake. If they gonna processed at least restart selling some Szechuan sauce. I never gotten a taste of that bastard.
These live action remakes represent everything flawed with capitalism imo. Combined with Disney's continuing monopoly and I definitely won't be seeing this creatively bankrupt, soulless cash grab.

I totally understand how you feel, guys. 2019 had a couple of disappointing Disney remakes. The original Mulan was geared towards a Western audience, but Mushu was considered offensive to the Mainland Chinese because Chinese dragons are of water element while Mushu is a fire-breathing dragon. Disney realized their mistake about the original Mulan having historical inaccuracies, so the remake will be based on the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan.
Pocahontas had a similar criticism about how incorrect her life was, so I'm hoping the remake would be based on her actual life and what really happened to her, as well as casting of purely Indigenous actors and actresses.
