    Series Cancelled

    Im sorry for those who were hoping to see more of trans Equestria Girls Izzy, but I’m officially putting any ideas I had to rest. Part in due to writing fatigue, but also in part that I did have some ideas where I wanted this series to go, but then the more G5 played, the harder it became for me to keep up. I have no idea how to write in Sparky, Misty and Opaline into the story. Also characters

Question; why don’t dramatic readers share? · 1:15pm Dec 8th, 2019

Or rather, since you don’t want to make your title text too long; why don’t people who read others fan fictions share their dramtic readings with the author?
I honestly thought it was an isolated incident; one guy, he was shy, so I spent a whole weekend sharing links of his dramtic reading with their respected authors. Mostly in hopes that would happen to me if the situation was reversed, as well as a good deed for the day. Only to then find out that it wasn’t just him when I told other authors, I love their story and the dramtic readings. It was, more than three quarters would say they hadn’t know. And that made my noise wrinkle -/- and seriously ask why no one who dose dramtic readings share their readings with said authors, and why you should if you do so.
Also, I plan to make this into a video of my own once the Cappa, stuff as well as IRL stuff is taken care of, so feel free to share your thoughts. Espically if you are a fan fic reader who’s nervous to share their readings.
Which I think may be one of the biggest factors into this next to, possible time. Again, why I’d like second opinion in the comments please. And I get it how you can be nervous about how life can be busy and hindesight. Or how you can be nervous about sharing and being just by the author. And in the few rare case where an author will even say, you can read my story/take it down! But at the same time, for every reason why you shouldn’t just, at least, leave a link to the reading in their stories comment section (again, if you don’t I really like to know why and won’t judge/be harsh. All about coummunication), and I can give three reason why you should do so;

Reason #1: self promotion
I know, scary word, but let’s be honest with ourselves here; Everybody when creating content to share is seeking some kind of recognition for their work, and that in it of itself, ISNT, a bad thing and is only bad when that’s the soul focus. At the same time, I’m willing to bet even the most humblest or modest of creators, the ones who say, and mean, it’s not about the subs, and can be legit happy if their content didn’t get a single like or comment, dose get happy when their work is liked and commented on, even if by just one person. Look me straight in the eye and tell me you’d be happier, and even upset, if someone were to say ‘good job, I liked,’ on your works and know that’s not a bad desire
.... will edit this as I realize while writing I’m putting what I wanted as two points into one.
Which reason two would fall into the lines of; sharing is caring and what goes around comes around. Why we do second drafts here ^^’
Anyways, what was going to get into was basically this little circle sharing your video with the creator has;
They’re going to see it, possible like and become a fan, and while not always (may add to the discouragement to share come to think about it), they may even share with their own fans in a blog or tweet you read their story, which means more foot traffic for yourself, and vice-versa when someone new on the video makers channel searches their playlist for the top rated video, and see your story has a lot more views than the other.
However, as great of system as it is (that makes me boggled as to why I even feel the need to make this) is the third, final, and regardless of anything else the MOST important point;
#3, RESPECT!
Among anything else, you’re taking someone else’s work and adapting it into your own. Something they probably put just as much, if not more time, than you did just to read it on YouTube. Even if they don’t like, or share it with their own fans, its at the very the polite thing to do!
Also, as this site is mlp, Fim (key words) you’d be amazed at just how friends you can also make by making such a connection. I can site just to my friends lotusmoon and Midnight29 that I would have never gotten to know them if they haven’t shared their fic readings to the authors (midnight my own story while lotus was from another I favored who’s author blogged it)
So next time, or if you want to do dramtic readings on YouTube (or wherever the winds takes that -/-) these are the reasons why it’s both rude, and impractical not to share the stories you read with the original authors.
But if you disagree or have a point I missed I’d love it if you shared down below so the final draft for this edventually video can hopefully be more fluent and insightful!
