Last known location: The Epilogue of "Tracks Backwards".
The Battleship Express. Arguably the centerpiece for what has become the greatest story that I've ever written to date, and the story that touched off my most famous Saga, the Battleship Express Saga. However, for the past almost year, nothing at all has been heard from it, or her crew. The last anyone ever saw or heard from them was in the Epilogue of the 3rd story in the series, "Tracks Backwards", which ended on a VERY suspenseful note I might add, but since that day, (February 17th, 2019, the entire train, and her crew, have seemingly vanished without a trace. Where have they gone? What happened after the final scene of "Tracks Backwards"? When will they all reappear? Many of you have been asking me what's been going on with this saga, and aside from a few cryptic "wait and sees", and "I'll tell you all soon", I've remained silent on the topic. Well, I think that it's time that I finally started breaking that silence.
The truth is, the Battleship Express and her crew haven't been "missing" at all, they've just been waiting in the wings for what's coming next. What is coming next? Well, the 4th story in the Saga, which is the most ambitious story that I've EVER undertaken to date. This story is called "Tale of 2 Big Boys", and I'm not the sole author. The truth is, this story will be a collab between myself, and another user that many of you might have heard of, "An Iowa Class Battleship". This fine author has graced you with many classics such as "Landfall", "Rails of Destruction", "Death from Above", and a few others. Now though, in the midst of his own writing, he has agreed to help me with the 4th story of the Battleship Express Saga.
Now, I think that I should answer some of your questions on this new story, however, some things I'll still be keeping a secret until the story's launch, which hopefully will be before the one-year anniversary of "Tracks Backwards", and the second anniversary of "Battleship Express", and "Beyond the Express". Prior to launch, both Iowa and myself will be writing dedicated blog posts, but for now I just wanted to stoke up the hype, and let you all ask me some questions about this new story in the comments down below. Ask away; I love responding to comments from my readers. Ask your questions, I'll answer what I can, and keep your eyes peeled for new updates, because as soon as Chapter 2 of this story is complete, the story will be launched. Currently Chapter 1 is well underway, and more updates will be coming soon!
