    I Live!

But I’m on a buttload of drugs and am going to pass out.

Surgery went great, even better than expected. I’ll elaborate more later.

    Until next time!

Well, it's that time of the year again. The time when the holiday gets ignored for another that's a month later, appears for a day, and then transitions straight into the madhouse malls. It's also the reason my avatar is wearing that hat. :derpytongue2:

There's a lot for me to be thankful for this year, not the least of which is being a year of recovery out from my second heart transplant. Physical therapy has now essentially turned into self-defense lessons, and I'm just about finished moving into my new apartment. I've also made the executive decision to pause in my job search—since the previous possibility fell through—and stick to editing until I've finished A Daughter and her Dragon (unless some great opportunity presents itself, of course), so I can be thankful for creating this time to commit to my writing before I 'move on.'

Happy Thanksgiving to all my 'Murican friends out there. May your bellies burst with turkey (or whatever is your family's food of choice), and may your post-food stupor naps bear pleasant dreams.
