Happy Day-Before-Black-Friday-Hell Eve! + current WIP · 5:52am Nov 28th, 2019

Still not sure how I feel about Thanksgiving. On the one hand, we've got a nightmare for anyone working retail (my heart goes out to you, and just know I'm staying home tomorrow and friday so there's one less customer to worry about), and on the other hand, we've got an expectation to go back to family whose opinions are radically different from my own to celebrate a romanticized story of a pretty damn violent colonization. So, capitalism, racism... yeah, still deciding how I feel about the holiday.

But I digress. I'll be spending it with friends and roasting marshmallows and playing card games and avoiding discussing politics, my rampant homosexuality, and the state of the economy with my family, so that's as close to a win as I'm getting this time around.

As far as stories go, I know I've been quiet, sorry about that. I've got about a million and a half works-in-progress to wade through, and finally started writing again. Life's been kind of rough lately, but I'm back in the swing of things. Next up? A one shot in the universe of the big WIP I've been working on. Shhh, it's a surprise! ♥
