Feeling Full of Thanks. · 1:57am Nov 27th, 2019
Well, folks. Looks like it's that time of the year again, and this time around I just felt the need to share what I'm thankful for.
It's funny now that the show is officially over, I find myself thinking back to when I first technically became part of the fandom. It was after Season 4 had concluded, and, at the time, writing fanfics was not in my game plan. *Laughs resignedly* Then my infamous little crossover idea popped into my head, and I didn't hop cheerfully onboard the fandom so much as I was dragged in kicking and screaming.
What can I say but God is good. I may have started out never wanting to be a fanfic writer, but now I'm thankful that He let that story idea lodge in my head, and in my heart and just not leave me alone. It gave me a chance to work my writing muscles, and to see if I could make a decent enjoyable story using sources even I wasn't sure would work together.
So now I also want to thank all of you who have been reading my stories, favoriting them, and especially commenting on them. Thank you taterforlife, flowergirl13, MissytheAngle, Mythic Eithne 597, Berry Delight, Stormy-Sketch, KuroChi Cross, and all the rest of you out there. Thank you Nightwalker for your advice on how to give my story more exposure when I first joined the site, your suggestions on how to improve the existing chapters, and your editing on the future ones. Thank you misskoifishpony for being there from the beginning when I posted my first chapter on Fanfiction.net and for prompting me to start posting the story here on Fimfiction as well. I can't thank all of you enough. When I first started writing this fanfic, no one had less faith in it working than I did, so all of your support and encouragement has meant the world to me.

P.S. Regarding what's in store after the breather that was Chapter 3: We'll be getting info both on Discord's situation and on that mystery equine. Though not necessarily in that order.

I know it's been a long time, but I just wanted to say I'm very grateful for your comments (Also thanks for the link to the Thanksgiving picture, Missy) and I'm happy to report I've just finished sending Chapter 4 to Nightwalker (It ended up being another one of those long chapters.) So while I won't be able to contribute anything for Fluttercord Week, there's a chance I could post Chapter 4 sometime that week depending on how long the editing takes. In the meantime, Happy 2020, you two! (I'm not making any promises, but I'm going to aim for trying to get The Pegasus who Kicked the Changelings' Hive wrapped up before 2021.)
