If you read yesterday's post, I'm sorry. I was way too tired to think clearly about what I was saying, and I was trying way too hard to be the good guy. So, why don't I start from the top?
I met Hailey* around January of 2019. She seemed nice enough at the time. We would work together on worksheets and stuff like that. She needed the help, and I needed the company.
Eventually (and by that I mean 2 months later), I was introduced to her other friends. The table was exclusive, as most tables are in the tiny cafeteria. Not necessarily because the kids are mean, but because everyone wants to sit with their friends. And if you're not with your friends, you're sitting by yourself. It was really obvious to me that Hailey was the r8ngleader. And every day, 10 minutes into lunch, she and Alexia* would leave to roam around the school. Sometimes, Sabrina* would go too. Sabrina and I grew especially close. Normally, I wouldn't be allowed to come and would be shooed back to the table, where I would play on my iPod for the remainder of lunch. Unless Sabrina* decided to stay back with me. I was allowed to start coming in about May, amd we ended up having lots of fun. We were caught a few times since roaming around school during lunch is technically frowned upon, but it was still nice.
Fast forward to 8th grade. Discipline has been increased significantly, so roaming around wasn't really an option anymore. Hailey was actually starting to be nicer to me. My spot at the table became permanent, and she would talk to me when we weren't doing an assignment. Then, 2 weeks ago, for whatever reason, she changed. It probably had something to do with the fact that I told her she had to buy her own lunches and stop making me buy them for her. Yesterday, I said that I didn't like something in my lunchbox. Then she went off ranting about how I 'always complain about everything' and I need to stop. Then she started ranting about how I always 'talk about everyone'. The first one is somewhat true, I'll admit, but I don't talk about other people. And I told her that. And I said thatshe had no room to talk since I helped clean her freaking house on Friday. When I banged my head on the table from pure annoyance and frustration, Hailey grabbed my hair and started swinging me around like a rope as I was screaming and pleading at her to stop. Then I sat up and she started laughing. The thing she said next was what really got to me.
"You know, I think you like it when I make fun of you. You love the attention, just admit it".
And when I started saying how wrong she was, she smirked and said "Just admit you love the attention."
Then the teacher dismissed us.
I can almost forgive her for that. Maybe she was in a bad mood or something. Today was when shit got real.
I don't know why, but I decided to sit with them. I ha d intended to finish (and study) my notes for the final exam I had next period. I knew I wasn't going to have any time in between classes, so I had to study at lunch. I ate my food then got out my notes. Sabrina was beginning to help me study when Autumn*, the girl sitting next to me took my pencil. I'd expect something like that from her as a joke. I tried to reach for it, but she wouldn't give it back. I asked for it back, and told her I was serious because that was my last pencil, which it was. My requests were ignored entirety. Then Josh* noticed Autumn grabbing my pencil, and he took my notes. In response, Autumn gave my back my pencil. Now I was telling Josh to give me my notes back, Alexia grabbed my pencil and started passing it around with the other members of the table. Josh passed the paper to Autumn, and threatened to sit on it. I was reaching around her to try and grab it and fell on my back onto the floor. Autumn at least helped me up and gave my paper back. As I was sitting up, the other kids had taken the rest of my lunch and even tried to throw some of it away, even through it was obvious that I was planning on finishing it. Fortunately, they missed the can. When I went to retrieve my stuff, Josh has grabbed my paper and sat on it. Alexia tossed my pencil back to be, only to find that it was broken. And it was a mechanical pencil, too. That thing was smashed. I could see the springs inside of it! Josh gave my wrinkled notes back and actually apologized. I sighed and began to look at my notes. They Hailey got up in my face and asked why I was doing my notes without a computer, and I tried to push her back. Then she starts laughing and said that I didn't do it right. I look up to see the entire fucking table laughing at me. Old memories started coming back. Hailey noticed the discomfort on my face and said
"We're all making fun of you, but I know you're okay with it, since you like attention so much."
I told her to never say that to me again if she valued her life. Her response " Watch out everyone! Kayla's pissed off!"
Then the teacher dismissed us.
Wow, that may have been the longest post I've ever written. Yes, I am finally done defending her. And I don't feel like talking about it more than I already have.

The group you were hanging out with sound like complete jackasses, for lack of better word, hopefully you'll find a better group of people to be friends with, or even if it's one person, as long as they care about you and NOT some cheap thrills

Those people are being total jerks. You need some friends who deserve you.
I agree with everyone else here, stay away from those people and get better, more supportive friends
The thing I've noticed is that, people will often pretend to be friendly with other people in an attempt get something from them, now I'm not saying that's the case with your friends, but... it's always a good idea to be careful.
