    It Can't Be Just Me

I still go to Derpibooru. I know some people have stopped, or at least stop having their art there, but it is still the most convenient way to see most mlp art (and not having to create an account for every art site under the sun). I also live out in the country, so there are many times when my internet can be spotty. There are times when I will be in the middle of something, and it will slow,

Still Getting Attention For Some Reason

So, it has been over a year since I last posted or updated a story (August 2021), and almost a year since I announced i was giving up on continuing any stories here. Yet, somehow, I am still getting notifications that people are liking my stories, and even occasionally getting new followers.

I'm kind of curious as to why?

    Giving Up

Well, I'm admitting defeat. The stories that I have here but have not finished are now officially cancelled. After all this time, it seems unlikely that I will be continuing to work on them. Sorry to those who were hoping that they would keep going, but hopefully you understand.

    MLP, D&D, and breath weapons

Something I was thinking about the other day.

In the show, we have dragons of numerous colors, but they all breathe fire. Some of them are of different colors, but it is fire all the same.

Crossover Story Ideas · 6:10am Nov 22nd, 2019

A couple of ideas for crossover stories I had. Thought I would share in case anyone is interested in trying to write them.

I dare you!

Star and Sweetie: A Rick and Morty crossover with Starswirl the Bearded and Sweetie Belle. A bitter alcoholic Starswirl the Bearded drags Sweetie Belle along on a series of dangerous but funny misadventures, often leaving the filly a little smarter, but a lot more traumatized.

Murder, She Neighed: Murder, She Wrote starring Twilight Velvet. After the passing of her husband, renowned mystery writer Twilight Velvet decides to move from Canterlot to a nice quiet little town. When one of her neighbor's is murdered, Velvet finds herself caught up in the investigation, trying to help find the killer.

Corn and Glow: Corn and Peg with Cozy Glow. After escaping her imprisonment, Cozy Glow flees Equestria. She eventually finds herself in a strange place called Galloping Grove, where -- as far as she's concerned -- every pony is a child-like idiot. Which makes them all perfect for her manipulation. First, she will ingratiate herself with a certain unicorn colt and pegasus filly that everyone likes, then she will work her way through the town until they are all bent to her will. Besides, who would expect a cute, sweet little filly like her to be plotting something like that.

Although... who's Captain Thunderhoof?

The Council of Star Swirls would hopefully be a bit more stable than the Council of Ricks. Though I can only imagine what the League of Sweetie Belles would think of it.

Murder, She Neighed

:twilightoops: "Mom, I don't want to sound alarmist but... well, every time you've gone on vacation in the past four years, somepony's died. Usually one of your friends."

Although... who's Captain Thunderhoof?

Now there's a battle for the ages...

Now there's a battle for the ages...

Thing is, Cozy subscribes to the same brand of bull**** pseudo-friendship as Thunderhoof does, or at least a close enough facsimile to defuse the conflict and doom a town that should never have survived in the first place.

I like it:)

I do like the first two ideas. Not sure about the third.

I like the second one, but I'm not much of a Rick and Morty fan and this is the first I've even heard of Corn and Peg)

But, yeah, I admit I do like how you're thinking.

I've thought of one myself:

"The Mare-Do-Well" (basically Darkwing Duck MLP style): Showmare Trixie Lulamoon operates as the costumed crime-fighter known as the Mare-Do-Well in the city of Neigh Orleans. Her identity known only to her best friend and sidekick Muffins, her adopted daughter Starlight Glimmer (yeah, Starlight is only a filly in this universe) and Colt Prodigy Sunburst (yeah; Sunburst is ALSO still nine years old in this universe), the Mare-Do-Well is an overly theatrical flamboyant egomaniac (not surprising considering this IS Trixie we are talking about) but CAN be frighteningly competent as a crime fighter once she puts enough of her ego aside to focus on the task at hoof and/or if she is motivated by protecting her family and friends. Of course, she ALSO has a not-so-friendly rivalry with Ponyville super-hero Gizmomare (aka Twilight Sparkle) and does occasional top level missions for Princess Celestia when something comes up that's too big for the agents of S.M.I.L.E.

Sorry about that. Got a little carried away (sheepish grin)

"Mom, I don't want to sound alarmist but... well, every time you've gone on vacation in the past four years, somepony's died. Usually one of your friends."

"Like you're one to talk, Twi. Just how many times have YOU and YOUR friends had to save Equestria in that same amount of time?".

"Well, at least nopony actually dies in 95 % of OUR adventures."

"Yes, but then there is the other five percent."

"Even THEN, the only one that actually dies is the villain."

"Well, MY villains tend to favor intellect over power. Not to mention are FAR more subtle. They're called "'mysteries'" for a VERY good reason, after all."

Know any author accepting commissions that I could pay to write this?

5159875
Unfortunately, no, but I DO thank you for liking the idea.

Actually, scratch that. I DO know a couple of author who accept commissions Alphamon_Ouryken takes commissions.

And so does Darth Link 22.

And I'll check to see if other authors on my watch list do too.
