I just had a dream so intense that I need to write it down.....

Did you ever have a dream that was so intense that you thought it was real and everything you saw actually happened?

I just don't understand some people.....

I was only out to buy some simple things today. I had some change left and I went to a nearby park to give it to a homeless person. I couldn't find one and went back to the train station and mall where I started. A man was standing there in front of the entrance, with heavy luggage, a huge backpack and a big suitcase. He asked me for change and said he has no place to sleep. I was unsure about

    I miss these glorious Saturdays.....

I have seen this thread in the Crossover group about saturday morning cartoon openings (that's now deleted) in my feed and it triggered it..... The memory of the Saturdays when a new episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic aired. I miss these Saturdays..... Watching a new episode, waiting for an upload, downloading it, rewatching it 3 - 5 times, writing an analytical review of the episode

Are you wondering where the plane flies to? Are you also thinking of someone who is far away?

Happy Derpy Day, Derpy. May the muffins be forever in your favour.

Selfishness has been my wrong motivator for the longest time..... and people don't see who I really am because of that.

A lot of people in the fandom don't understand who I am and think of me as a bad person. My friend sometimes does, too, and doesn't trust me anymore because of that. There have been moments when she literally asked me "Who are you?". I was always thinking this was stemming from trust issues that she developed because of events in her past and I was only marginally attributing the cause for this

On one of these days, I should make a series called "Absurd Block Reasons the World Needs to See" · 12:37am Nov 18th, 2019

Yes, I did block you on purpose, and it's not just that you personally insulted me, or believe in different things.

I blocked you because you combine a firehosing of illogical opinions masquerading as facts with a deep and profound lack of respect for anyone who disagrees with you.

.
Quotes by a true, rational thinker. Important parts emphasized in bold. It's not the first time I got blocked somewhere because a belief I hold (not a religious belief) was deemed ridiculous. It's just sad to see that it happens here on FIMFiction.net, where the users are usually very reasonable and sensible about blocking others. Especially considering that this particular person appears like a very mature person of whom I would have never expected a petty move like this. But I learned in the last couple years that everyone has their trigger that turns to the outside what they don't wish others to see and that some people even wear masks.
I don't mind science either, just tend to think that there are higher things that human science can't prove and will never be able to prove, but I can't stand this kind of elitist thinking that everything science can't prove or measure does not exist.
Apparently, holding such beliefs is block-worthy. I pity you, humanity. You have potential, but you fail to use it where it matters.

everything science can't prove or measure does not exist.

Science doesn't say that. It says that what can't be proved to exist can't be assumed to exist. You can't prove a non-existence, so if something is not proved then it shouldn't be taken into account since it doesn't have a measurable effect (if it did have a measurable effect, that would be a proof of existence). Rational thinking is about believing in as many true things as possible and as few false things as possible. Faith or "belief" is the excuse given when people don't have a good reason. If it can't be proved, then it doesn't have any way of manifesting that is measurable, in which case, even if was real, it makes it indistinguishable from something that doesn't exist.

So, science can't prove it and that means it doesn't exist. Huh. I am baffled how you came here writing a comment with six lines as a rebuttal to what I said about scientific elitists and then ended up saying the exact same thing that I said, confirming my words. Thanks for making my point, I guess. :rainbowderp:

Also, seeing how your account only exists since February and has zero activity on it, I wonder whose alt account you are. :ajsmug:

Its just stupid with People sometimes. Just look at the debate about Lemon's Gender back then

Thanks for making my point, I guess.

Your point was it was an elitist thinking and people holding beliefs is block worthy. It's not.

It's perfectly okay to have beliefs, but it's not okay to live as if they are real. Imagine believing that angels exist and crossing the street because you believe that the angels will protect you from the cars. But similarly, it's very okay to have beliefs as long as they don't hurtfully impact people. If you believe that god hates gays and try to raise hate against them because that's what your belief says, that's not okay. If you believe there is a god and he wants you to be good, that's amazingly okay.

If people block you simply for believing something that doesn't hurt them beyond their feelings that someone believes something they don't, that's not okay.

In the quotes you give, however, it seems that these people seem to have a personal problem with you, not your beliefs. Both of them point it out, even. You even do what the second quote says right now, because since I didn't outright agree then I must be an alt of them, and you're being all sarcastic and dissing me.

Also, seeing how your account only exists since February and has zero activity on it, I wonder whose alt account you are.

I download all the stories I like instead of keeping them in favorites, and I don't participate in groups. I only made the account for the downloading instead of bookmarking and so I can post in blogs. I'm not sure if I'll ever get into groups.

Don't even get me started on this. Humans are a generally stupid species, no idea what they're doing, but acting like they know everything, like the ultimate wisdom was fed to them with a big spoon. But it actually knows nothing.

Sometimes. Its a sad Thing

5157196
The most Accurate description of humans I have ever heard.

5157315

Honesty or the best sarcasm I've ever heard?

5157327

Good. There is hope for your human soul, my friend.

I pity you, humanity. You have potential, but you fail to use it where it matters.

Humanity really has taken a real nosedive hasn't it:ajsleepy:?

5158377

Yes and when I look around, I see that it keeps diving. There are notable people who transcend the others around them in a certain way, like Greta Thunberg or the current Dalai Lama, but they are few. I would like to have hopes for humanity as a whole, but in the past, these hopes have always been shattered and crushed.

5158451
Well, that’s just how things are now I’m afraid. I do have some hope things will change in the upcoming years, but at the rate we’re going, it’s not gonna happen anytime soon:eeyup:.

5158491

Hope dies last, they say. Hope dies last and it will outlive humanity. Ghosts can feel hope, too, right?
