5158151 The point is to wipe them off the Internet. This is a backdoor form of direct censorship. They can claim anyone their SJW drones target violated their obscure rules and ban them. They know most won't be able to hire lawyers.

The only hope then would be a class-action suit, which would be very hard to win given anyone remaining on the platform after the rules are put into effect has de facto agreed to abide by the terms.

Now, it could be attacked that YouTube is therefore acting as a publisher and not a platform, but this too would be very difficult to prove and almost certainly would end up going before the Supreme Court at the end... which could take a decade. In the meantime, the leftists would have absolute control of YouTube.

I see open revolt as the sole viable solution at this point. The French and Honk Kong people have realized this in their countries already.
