A Lousy Week · 5:42am Nov 10th, 2019

It first started with a homework assignment. A video essay I needed to finish and just barely finished in time, but required a sleepless night and another presentation to be done. Everything was completed, but I'm greatly dissatisfied with the final results.

Then I found out my grandfather died a few days ago. I'd been hoping to send him a letter the past year, since I hadn't seen him since May 2017. Now that opportunity's gone, and I'm left not really knowing him all that well. Living on the other side of the country and being alienated from many of his living relatives will do that (both sides of my family seem to be royally dysfunctional).

Then I discovered I couldn't do National Pony Writing Month because of all my responsibilities to school and family. A damn shame, since it's an event that usually forces me to stick to slamming out ideas I sit on for too long of time. I dropped out last year as well, so for two years I haven't been able to commit.

The only silver lining to all of this was FanOfAlmostEverything complimenting me on my story The Slow Transformation of Oliver Sanderson. I won't act like it fixed everything happening in my life, but it was nice seeing someone so prominent on the site enjoy one of my more contentious stories.

Anyways, here's hoping I learn how to deal with all this.
