The Wife of the Old Draconequus Re-writes (Edited)

Hey guys, my wonderful readers and followers!^^ Sooooooo, here's the thing lol, I've decided to rewrite some parts of The Wife of the Old Draconequus I know, I know, I know what all of you must be thinking: "What?!:0 Why?! There has been nothing but positive reviews and comments from us! We love it! Why are you changing it?!" And let me just say, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate and love each and every one of you^^ <3 Your support in this story means the world to me and I deeply appreciate the positive feedback:)

But recently, I have made my first attempt to submit this story to Equestria Daily and try to have it featured/advertised on Equestria Daily. You actually have to go through a process where you have someone at Equestria Daily read your story and see if it can be featured on Equestria Daily or not. Unfornately, The Wife of the Old Draconequus failed and didn't get the chance to be featured. Now, this doesn't mean that I can't submit my story again and essentially try again. Probably will once I'm later down the story/later down the line essentially:) The reader said that they liked my story and saw talent in the writing. But their biggest critique is to make this story as different as possible from the original AMB story as possible. They do want me to try again once I've further into my story:) Anyway, these rewrites will make this story more distinct from the AMB story, but also not too terrible different from what was there before originally. Essentially, I will be rewriting/extending/adding more to the ending of Chapter 2, rewriting half of Chapter 3, and rewriting half of Chapter 4.

I am so sorry for this inconvenience everyone:( This is why I haven't said anything about Chapter 5 for awhile and I know that you guys have been looking forward to Chapter 5. These rewrites did effect what I had drafted for Chapter 5 and I had to do some rewrites to Chapter 5. So yes, in other words, you guys will see the rewrites first before Chapter 5. Plus, you guys need to read Chapters 2, 3, and 4, newly edited, before you read Chapter 5.

I know this a lot to ask from all of you, but I have a feeling that these rewrites will help this story in the long run:) But, not only do I need each and every one of you to read these rewrites, but once these rewrites are posted, I would need you guys to leave me a comment on how you guys liked the rewrites:) These comments will let me know if I need to do more rewrites or not. And more rewrites will affect the release and the writing that will go into Chapter 5. If you guys can do this, I would be forever grateful <3 I will let you guys know when the rewrites are posted:)

So you are rewriting the story so it can feature on Equestria Daily? Sure, if this is the goal you were aiming for in this story, go for it.

Oh no no, that is not the goal of this story at all!:0 Oh dear, no, the goal of my story is to have a loving fan story to, not only Fluttercord itself, but to the anime and manga that is Ancient Magus Bride <3 I love this story and it's dedication to AMB, and I have so much faith in this story, that I want to share it on Equestria Daily and hope that it could land on there. But if it can't, like if it can never get on there, that's okay:) I will still love this story no matter what <3! I just want to try again just to see if I can:) I just want to try because well why not?XD It's something I've never done before and I've always wanted to try. I see it more as a side goal for this story; it doesn't have to be done and it doesn't have to be approved by Equestria Daily in order to successful in my eyes. It would be great if it did happen, kinda like a cherry on top of the sundae kind of feeling:) But again, it doesn't have to happen and I just want to try to see if it is possible because I'm curious.

I'm taking their critique of my story into consideration because they brought up some good points about my story and I feel like that critique could improve it. Don't worry, at the end of the day, I'm still in that mentality that "this is my story and I'll write it the way I want it to be":) This story will still continue down that path no matter what, but I still want to improve on it in anyway that I can:) If the rewrites end up just not working at all for the readers, then I'll go back to the original no problem because I do love the original and the rewrites I have:) Each version has something to offer for different reasons.

I've enjoyed what you've done so far but as the writer, you have the right (tee hee) to change the story as you see fit. And being as you're amazing, we'll read it no matter what. Good luck with it!
