Gustav the Armorless and The Second Perasian War I: Declaration and Causes

The Second Perasian War or II Wia ist Prisiam in Nilnish was fought between 968 and 979 PV. The war was not started necessarily by Northerners or Perasians, but rather Dwarves. Niln had made an alliance with four city-states in Youngfrost (November) of 967 PV Dravias, Xian, and Doria. These were Dwarven City-States in Dravand, the mountainous kingdom ruled over by several city-states. These states had no way to get to Niln without either going through Rianella which was already having troubles with Niln or go through Perasia which was oblivious of Niln's pact. Around Newcoming 12th, 968 PV, a Dwarven trade party from Doria was traveling through Perasia near Baltier. The party was attacked by Perasian soldiers (The Perasians dawned chainmail armor with a cloak covering them, displaying a horse's head, and steel helmets covering all but their faces, long swords, spears, and wooden round shields that were half white and half blue). All except for two were killed, those two rode off on their boars (The rode boars in combat and on long journeys). They rode back to Doria and informed the king of the attack, this lead to what is now considered the Second Perasian War but in the first two years was called the Dwarven-Perasian War.
In 970 the war began to change, Niln only knew of the war since they were in constant contact with these states but intervened very little in combat. On Newcoming 15th 970, two years and three days since the Dwarven-Perasian War began, Perasians attacked New Vildria in an unsuccessful raid.

After this, he was still hesitant to start a war. But people kept yelling in favor of war, to the point that citizens marched on Fallreach and demanded that either he declare war, or kill himself. Hesitantly he wrote a declaration of war and began plans for an attack
