Major Update - Requesting Feedback/ A Wayfaring Side Story · 6:01pm Nov 2nd, 2019
Okay, a pretty big post here. I'm gonna try to be as coherent as possible without venturing into ramble territory.
I want to talk about the side story I've been mentioning in a couple of blogpost, and to hopefully hear feedback on my intentions of developing it. Mainly, how I want to tie it to the Patreon I created.
Yes, I created a Patreon. I did so almost a year ago with the hopes of developing it into a kinda pet project at some point. Cultivating i into a means of connecting and working with people who are invested in the things I write (mainly The Wayfares). I think now, as I write this first side story, I elaborate on my plans for both The Wayfares and the Patreon.
What I want to do is fledge out The Wayfarers into a full universe. There's the flagship, The Wayfares, to drive the main narritive. Then there will be the smaller stories, maybe tales from main characters that will help solidify the lore I'm creating for my version of the show's world.
These stories won't be required reading, they won't push past the current point of the main narritve, and they shouldn't spoil anything in the main story. I won't these stories to create a richier reading experience for my readers.
Okay, what does this have to do with my Patreon? There's two major points:
The first is my drive to became a professional writer -i.e. someone who makes a living from what they create and present to an audience. It's always been my dream, and this feels like the right first few baby steps to realizing said dream.
The second ties in nicely with what I said earlier. I want a platform to connect with readers who are invested in The Wayfares's continued development. With this Patreon, readers will not only get to read chapters before they come out, but also be able to follow the development process as I write them. I don't expect many Patreons right now -or any, if I'm honest- but I'm hoping to grow this into something amazing.
I won't get into the specifics of the tiers and the tier rewards just yet, as I'm still straightening them out. Just be aware that blogpost is down the pipeline nearby. I ask is that you voice any questions or concerns you may have, and I will respond to them.

It's gonna be a little short, but I need a bit of a buffer for Chapter 40 -cause that one is a doozy. I start my job tomorrow, so I'm still a little unsure what my schedule's going to look like. However, I will keep whoever still checks these blogs updated.
