Taking Criticism Better And Looking Back · 2:45am Oct 31st, 2019
I've seen some criticism on my recent story and I understand. A few years ago, On 90% of my stories everyone stories someone found something wrong or something to point out that was wrong with the story. I was younger at the time and I didn't take criticism too well. That might've been the reason I left the site and never came back. I attempted a comeback back in 2018 but I didn't stay on the site. I attempted to write a story that never got written. I made a real comeback now with a few stories. Since I am in theater, I've learned to take criticism better and I understand. It just feels like some people like to jab at me and tell me all my problems while they don't tell me what they like about the stories. I understand if you can't read it because of how poorly written it was. They're has to be something positive you liked about the story. But they want to get to the negatives. When I put out stories over a few years ago, a good majority of the comments we're pointing out my flaws and a small percentage was people enjoying the story and what they liked. I understand some of you are helping me and trying to make me better and improve on my stories. But sometimes when you comment something like that, it's like a punch in the gut to all my hard work. I did have a proofreader but I want to write stories with me finding all my errors. I will get one when the time comes. This is just me venting. Thank you for reading this. Thank you for all the favorites, likes, and comments. More stories to come. Stay tuned and Happy early Halloween!
