Can someone get the size comparisons used in the candy cane calculations to say for sure?

Incidentally, I've repeatedly pointed out that the size output by said calculations, when combined with typical equine proportions, results in a relatively reasonable match in size where it matters. They'll still be a little bigger in that area, but not by enough to ruin, ahem, relations. The Sisters, of course, are full-sized horses and I therefore feel bad about their love lives.

Pretty sure you've asked this and I've answered before. Also Herald of Opera is right, we can use the candy cane calculations as well to calculate this. Just gotta compare the calculated height for the average pony to that of an average draft horse, then compare that to the calculated height of celestia.

anyways an average pony measures 627.2mm at the withers, with the average draft horse measuring 1778mm at the withers. Now, for comparison's sake we'll also calculate the full height all the way to the head of the pony, which is 1118.72mm from the ground to the top of the head, horn not being counted. For Celestia, however, we have a different comparison to make. She measures in at 1253.75mm at the withers, and 1929.5mm at the top of her head. So for a regular pony the height at withers to height at top of head ratio (I'll just call this a height ratio for ease of typing) is for full height to withers height a ratio of 1.783673469:1. Lets just use a rounded version for that so our height ratio for withers to head for an average pony is 1.784:1. For Celestia the height ratio for withers to head is 1.538983051:1, which can be rounded to 1.539:1. The height ratio for Celestia and an average Pony measuring from top of the head is 1.724738987:1, rounding to 1.725:1.

So the ratios:
Average Pony: 1.784:1
Celestia: 1.539:1
Celestia vs Pony: 1.725:1

With all that out of the way, we can finally calculate the heights. Okay so for a pony, at the withers they'd be an average draft horse, measuring 1.778 meters or 5 foot, 10 inches in height. Of course they're taller than that, so we apply the height ratio for an average pony. Height at top of head is thus 3.172 meters, or 10 feet, 4.88 inches.

Celestia's height thus is used by comparing this height to an average pony. So the Celestia vs Pony height ratio is used, giving us a height of 5.472 meters, or 17 feet, 11.43 inches.

So Celestia would be almost 18 feet tall at the top of her head. Her height above the withers makes up 35% of her height and as such at the withers she stands at 3.557 meters, or 11 feet, 8.04 inches.
