A Transition in Writing · 1:07am Oct 19th, 2019
Good Morning from my Writing Lair! This is Shadow_8472, and today, I updated the prologue for A Tale of Two Worlds. Let's get started.
This change marks a transition in my time here. I placed the story on hold to write a few shorter stories and learn even more. Stryker has also started ahead with a sequel to the original role play which may or may not get novelized.
Looking forward, I want to plan out a series of goals for myself. Weekly blogs apply pressure, and I sometimes feel like I've been neglecting my robotics blog, Let'sBuildRoboticsWithShadow8472, where I try to write at least 300 words weekly. My eventual goal there is to build up the skills to construct a social robot based on the Sweetie Bot project. Silly me thought I could do it in a year, but as fan projects often take second priority to other things in life, they have only released the software to simulate it, and I've only made a Raspberry Pi shaped like a Pac-Man ghost I call Blinkie Pie.
As for writing, I still have a few ideas I want to save for when I'm better. I have a number of shorter ideas for events after the end of AToTW I, but I don't want to give too much away. I feel similarly pressed in that there isn't really enough to ramble about between chapters without spoilers. One possibility is that I might do a monthly writing update, punctuated by weekly posts where I find a fiction to read and review it.
Final Question: What was your favorite season story arc?
