I have not and will not give up... · 11:26pm Oct 18th, 2019
Had a question on my Discord server (linko hereo) today, and I thought I’d share here too as it explains why Luna Switched’s next chapter is taking so long to get off of the ground.
Luna Switched is not dead. It will only die if I do, and I really hope I don’t. I’m not planning to.
The question I was asked, I won’t name the querent, wasn’t about Luna Switched. It was about some YouTube videos I make where I read out a story by another user.
See, recording, editing the recording, and uploading it takes a lot of time.
This week, even though I’ve been off work, I’ve been busy; I completed a chapter of ‘Scoundrels’ that I’ve been writing which I Also had to edit alone, I’ve seen different people daily for my birthday this week, I’ve had studies which took up the whole of my day today, tomorrow I have to see yet more people meaning I lose the day from 4pm onwards.
An average week for me is a nine to five Monday to Friday job, with my weekends and evenings I am studying Arts and Humanities, module one of a Creative Writing Bachelors Degree. I may be called upon to help edit a chapter for the same story I’ve been doing readings of. I try to do at least on YT recording a week and any other free time, if not stolen by friends and family, is spent writing, eating and sleeping.
My commitment to writing is such that I have PS4 games from my LAST birthday, still gathering dust...
I wanna keep producing these things and I love that you enjoy them (if you do. If you don’t, I’m sorry you feel that way) unfortunately every production, whether written, recorded, or even planned, takes time. If I had someone behind me willing to edit my recordings or works so that I can be free to make more, I’d get more done. But I don’t, sadly. I can only create so much with the time given to me.
This isn’t a rant. It feels like a rant and sounds like one but it isn’t. It’s just an explanation of why things I’ve started don’t get made quick enough. I hope you do stay interested in my projects and understand if you don’t.
All I can do is thank you for the time you’ve given to what I do.
I hope you stick with me. The aim is to have a new chapter within the next month. I appreciate what you do, whether it is feedback, comments, just clicking a thumb or chatting to me. You are why I do this.
All good things,
Scars
I'll be here... I'll always be here.
