A question of curiosity about a food-related habit · 2:33pm Oct 17th, 2019
I is curious if it was only me that does this - whenever you go to whichever supermarket you prefer and you head to the bakery, you look for your favourite bread. For me, it's a three-cheese and jalapeño bloomer or a three-cheese bloomer, one of the two, and for said bloomer, I'd go down to the sauce section and I'd pick out a type of my favourite BBQ sauce and some other sauce to try with it, usually sweet chilli.
I'd be sat there at home with the bloomer and the sauce and I'd cut off slice after slice while I'm watching a film or playing a game and I'd pour some sauce onto it and eat it. Might sound odd to some, because when I've mentioned I do that to two people in my family, they always grimace, but I was wondering if anybody else does this or something similar? Come on, there's no shame in it! Everybody's entitled to be unhealthy every now and again, right? If you live once, might as well make it as delicious as possible!
So, tell me, is there something you do at least every week or so that involves strange or original food combinations?
I like to substitute the water in blueberry pancake mix for Sprite... It makes the pancakes fluffier in my opinion.

Dude, what? Okay, I have to say, that's probably one of the oddest things I've heard so far. Wouldn't that affect the taste quite a fair bit, making it sorta lemony or whatever?

Yea, my mom did it every time she made pancakes, so I sorta grew up liking it. Lol
