My rejected ideas for S.A.R.A.H.

So I just wanted to make a blog because I felt like it and this topic was the only thing I think is worth sharing. It not a life changing story or anything like that, just mildly interesting. So here it goes.

S.A.R.A.H. was originally going to be a romance story between S.A.R.A.H. and Twilight (or Starlight but that idea only last a few days). In fact for the longest time this was what the story was going to be, it wasn't until a few days before I posted the first chapter did I change it. I think it was a good change though because I had a hard time trying to make the relationship feel natural and in character, so changing it actually made me enjoy my story even more. I really do hate how I always try to include romance into my story ideas, I'm not kidding my shipping brain always ships one of my OCs with other character. It gets out of hand sometimes.

Another rejected idea was in the last chapter I posted Anomaly_Detected:Pinkie_Pie. I actually change it while I was in the middle of writing it. The part were Pinkie ask S.A.R.A.H. about throwing her a part wasn't going to be Pinkie getting sad about it but instead was going to be that Pinkie would just keep bothering S.A.R.A.H. until she agreed. Which on second though felt like I was betraying the character because she learned not to do that with Cranky Doodle Donkey so making her do that felt too OOC.

This last idea might be surprising but when I first was thinking up the story S.A.R.A.H. wasn't going to be the main character, in fact she wasn't even in the story. I know that sounds kind of strange but I'll try to explain. S.A.R.A.H. as we know her now wasn't thought up until much later in the brainstorming process, the closest character to S.A.R.A.H. was an unnamed A.I. who had next to nothing in terms of character and was just a machine that hunted and killed other A.I.s and was in fact the antagonist of the story. So you made be asking if the story wasn't going to be about S.A.R.A.H. than what was it going to be about. The answer is X or Elite_SoldierDrone:GenerationGamma#X9024 as some may call him. It was about X going to equestria and being hunted by the unnamed robot.

I know big change, making him an antagonist when he was originally going to be the protagonist. Well my reasoning behind it was that I felt he would be better as a antagonist. It's funny really because this story was only made because I want one of my OCs to be in a My Little Pony fanfic. X was one of my favorite characters I had ever come up with and I wanted to write him meeting with the main six but as I said before I change my mind. Since X was so important with the creation of S.A.R.A.H. I think I should let you know how I came up with him.

You know how in Super Smash Bros Wii U you could make your own characters using Miis. I made a Mii fighter of the gunner type named Weapon X and I got super attached to him and started to make a backstory for him. He wasn't even that original of a Mii fighter. The Mii I used was a red shirted guest with a blank face and I built him as a bruiser. Never would of thought that making a random Mii would end up with me writing a fanfic.

That all I can think of right now that isn't a spoiler for the unwritten chapters but yeah just wanted to right about this so... bye
