The show has ended; nine years of friendship, stories, animations, and metric tons of fan content has been made and created, friendships were forged, and lives created.
it's been one hell of a ride through the show, yeah? But... you know, contrary to what a lot of people might say, this isn't the end.
No no, far from the end. Dozens of fandoms still exist and thrive even if canon ends for good. The fandom keeps producing all kinds of crazy stuff, it doesn't matter my dudes, we can still keep on partying. And this isn't me being hopeful, this is me stating facts.
MLPFIM has ended, yes. But that doesn't mean the story has ended, it'll continue on, either through the comics like I saw, or through fanon content. And let's be honest, the fandom can make some pretty awesome shit.
So dry those tears and let the Pinkie Pie inside of you bring a smile to your face, and remember everything those six wonderful ponies taught us all over the course of nine years about how important friendship really is.
I love you all, thanks for being around for so long, for reading my content, and for helping me become a better writer.
I'll still be here of course, taking forever to update and finish stories like everyone else :P such is the curse of being a writer with writer's block.

I'm treating the end almost like a hiatus for the new movie/Gen V. Even if FiM has ended, more adventures await us
It would be more tragic if had kept on going and going and became something like the Simpsons. Here it ends on a good note with fond memories all around. I look forward to gen 5. Who knows maybe someday they will revisit the setting far into the future like Star Trek the next generation.
agreed, the Show is over but not the fandom
As they say, the show must go on! Maybe not in reality, but in our hearts and this fandom it will!
That is it; we have to keep our heads held high and keep putting our soul into what we write. The fact that the Canon SHOW has ended doesn't mean that we stop loving the fandom.

On the contrary, it means we have to work harder with the fandom to produce fond memories of MLP so that future generations may see and wonder that the power that Friendship brought to us!
Onwards to the future, Bronies and Pegasisters! Onwwards, to the light of the Solar Sister's sun!
