I Saw Joker

Hey everyone, as you can all tell by the title, I saw Joker. What did I think of this movie starring my favorite comic book villain? Well, it was... how do I put it? Oh yeah, AMAZING!! Best movie of 2019 in my opinion, right next to Avengers: Endgame. Oh yes, I just went there. Joaquin Phoenix does an excellent job with his performance and I consider him to be my favorite live action Joker. I will admit that when the look was revealed, I was a bit skeptical. Sure it had the traditional white face, red lips and green hair; but it also had a classic clown look to it such as a red nose, blue triangles at his eyes, and painted red eyebrows. It wasn't a bad look to me, it just wasn't something I was used to, because it wasn't what the Joker usually looked like. But with Phoenix's acting, he really made the look work as while it was make up, it became his face, if you know what I mean. I also like how there was some comedy in the film, since the Joker represents laughter, so it was fitting. There wasn't so much comedy that it became a comedy, it just had the right amount while the movie still had a darker tone. I also like the way it introduced him as a normal man, but instead of one bad day, he had a series of bad days that made him fall into insanity. Also, minor spoiler, I like how they gave him a medical condition where he had an uncontrollable laugh and it didn't match with his nervous emotion, and fun fact, that's a real medical condition. In conclusion, as a Joker fan, I really loved this movie and I highly recommend it.
