Twilight Sparkle Improving Lives? (Friendship is Failure)

    People sure love to complain...

She always tries her best to get through to those with friendship problems and help them improve their lives, no matter how much they reject and act hostile towards her.

She gets disrespected a lot because she wants to help people, even though she's a princess who's saved Equestria on multiple occasions.

What will it Change? (Trying means Nothing!)

In relation to my previous blog, https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/1035717/i-have-to-or-you-just-want-me-to which relates to "Are you doing it for ME or YOURSELF?"

People still get up my back saying I need to "Get Help" "Change my groove" or, and the most often said "Fix your writing-- make it better/different"

I HAVE to, or you just WANT me to?

People often go about saying... "You HAVE to move on." "You HAVE to let go." "You HAVE to Improve" "You HAVE to this" "You HAVE to that."

But here's the real deal to consider. Do I really HAVE to, or do you just WANT me to? That's the ideal.

The Show is over (Means nothing)

A lot of people have been getting up my back lately, all yakking at me the same thing.

The show ended (This many) years ago. Why are you still making stories if they no longer have purpose?

Idiots... that's not how it works.

Mysterious Meadows (Friendship is Failure Locations) · 1:18am Oct 9th, 2019

"Mysterious Meadows": Home of Garfield Logan, Darkness, Disasters, And Assorted Dangers. "I'd Turn Back If I Were You!"

-The road sign pointing in the direction to the area

Mysterious Meadows is a recurring location often used in the "Teen Titan High-School Musical" series (Including Friendship is Failure #8) It is a dark and foreboding place, and serves as the home of the orphaned High-School genius, Garfield Logan.

DESCRIPTION IN THE SERIES

It is said to be located somewhere in the lonely desert lands near the boundaries of California and Nevada, and consists of a rather large mansion in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by hazardous and hostile environments, (An abandoned Bell Tower, a cemetery, murky lake, The Hapless Forest, and vast wide fields that seemingly lead to nowhere.)

The area is very dangerous, and those who are not properly fitted or skilled to take on all the dangers, usually meet with certain death! Very few have survived for a certain amount of time. The longest being Garfield Logan.

There are constant thunder clouds overhead that never seem to lift of shift, with constant flashes of lightning and roaring thunder. As such, the sun never shines in this area-- even at midday it can be as dark as night-- and at nightfall it can get so incredibly dark you can barely see your hand in front of your face.

Soft howling winds seem to blow constantly like whispering sounds, which rattle the brambles and bang the creaking shutters.

The grounds are hard and crusted with plates of dry, solid ground, dead vegetation, rocks, bones of people killed by the dangers.

The mansion, although old-fashioned, is that of late 1800s design. As such, and due to its isolation from populated areas, it has no electricity, no gas lines, no plumbing. As such, drinking water must be fetched from a well behind the mansion. (The lake water is far too dirty for consumption) The only source of heat and lightning are from bonfires, candles, and old-fashioned oil-lanterns. (the brightest the area ever truly gets is with the lightning flashes)

Inside the mansion is fairly typical to an old-style Victorian House, with a foyer, a long stairway leading to the upper floors, old-fashioned furniture, bedrooms including a master bedroom with four-poster beds, a study, a kitchen, pantry, even laboratory. There are no bathrooms as people used Chamber-pots. The walls are decked with many paintings of, most-likely, people who lived there in the past, and bookshelves full of out-dated subjected (History, technology, engineering. ect, ect) and many old-fashioned fictional novels of Mystery Stories, or Somber Tales of tragedy and heartbreak.

Very few actually know or believe that this place even exists as it is so isolated from society, and unbelievably eerie to be true.

TEEN TITANS HIGH SCHOOL MUSICALS (Friendship is Failure 8)

Many people once lived in this mansion, including a scientist who was trying to develop a way to control weather patterns, but his botched experiments caused the infinite storm clouds to appear over the entire area, the winds to billow and the rains to cease, due to excessive lightning strikes evaporating the water before it can fall far enough.

Soon, the area became the danger that it was. The lake water became contaminated, and full of man-eating fish. The forest to be overrun by carnivorous wolves and other creatures. As as result, the scientist and the house owners and guests were all killed by the very hazards unleashed.

In time, travelers came upon the area, and burred the corpses of the folks, creating the large cemetery, only then to be overcome and killed by the hazards themselves.

Orphaned at a young age, Garfield Mark Logan, discovered the area after being shunned from so many potential homes, shelters, and denied any and all forms of help from nearly all people who regarded him as "Trash" and cared nothing for him, and while he knew the place was a death trap, he was in desperate need of a place to live, and isolate himself from the rest of humanity whom he did not trust due to their abuse of him, and settled in.

Though at least sheltered, and wearing old clothes from the former patrons of the house, the area quickly took its toll on the poor boy, due to the lack of modern technologies and luxuries, Garfield was forced to work harder and harder just to survive.

-All drinking/bathing water had to be fetched from a well.
-All water for a bath/laundry had to be poured into a tub and heated with fire beneath.
-Firewood had to be gathered from the forest-- chopping down trees, or gathering fallen logs, and chopping them into a woodpile
-Candle wax has to be melted, molded and formed into new candles to keep a good stock of supply
-Food had to be cooked over the fire or eaten cold and raw.

All this, combined with his busy school schedule, part-time job, homework, studying-- the poor boy worked at least 20 hours every day, with hardly much time to rest or sleep. (It was said that Garfield managed to gain a total of 7 hours of light restless sleep in a single week, which was horribly unhealthy) Even if he does manage to get to bed, the constant noises from the outside (Lightning, thunder, winds, wolves howling, shutters banging and creaking) keep him awake.

This sleep deprivation has caused horrible bags to appear under the boy's eyes, (Hence his need to wear thick sunglasses in public) and is largely responsible for his grumpiness, and harsh attitude towards others.

In-spite of all this, these things have toughened the boy, combined with his already natural survival skills from his journeys. He has been able to overcome mos obstacles whereas other visitors/owners of the area weren't so lucky. He braves the wolves, stocks up on firewood, keeps candles in stock, manages to cook meals.

He spends some of his time studying the old books which helped him develop his high IQ, and inspire him to keep battling the lands and their dangers.

Due to being isolated for so long, however, Garfield has a knack for talking out loud when no one is around, or just talking to himself to keep his spirits alive, especially when it is late and he has homework and studying to do for school and cannot afford to go to sleep.

Sometimes, to really keep himself awakened, he pretends to be the star of a horror-themed drama show he dubs "Mysterious Theater" in which he uses ominous music from an old phonograph, with horror sounds (women screaming, more wolf howls and cats meowing) and he addresses to his audience (The paintings of the people on the walls) the story and it's concepts. (A mystery story, or a heartbreak tragic tale that always ends bad)

Usually beginning with an intro...

and an outro, depending upon the story read

The Titans (Or rather their High School revisions) often discover this place and the horrific nightmare that it is, (The Equestria Girls have visited as well) But their ultimate efforts to help Garfield leave the place and find him a proper home always end up with them being balked at by Garfield's refusal to leave and not trusting the people (Not wanting to take a risk and be hurt again, thus losing everything he has)

The endings of each story are usually mixed-- different endings.

-Garfield is finally given a chance to improve himself thanks to the aid of the others, and moves away from the lands.
-The lands are destroyed by powerful magic or ravaged by destruction, angering the boy as has no home now, and forces him to run away,s till not trusting anyone.
