So, I am genuinely interested in continuing to expand the AU of the Chrysalis/Twilight story (personally I think the idea of a bunch of short stories in a persistent world sounds very fun) I'm just lookin for a little feedback into how I should go about it since I'm still pretty new to the site and don't do a whole lotta reading so I'm not super sure how things are done.
My gut idea was to make like. A single big anthology that's just a collection of all the short little slice of life things I write, so that way they're together and easy to keep up with and in chronological order and not drowning out everything else in my library, and then if an actual Story ends up happening it can be its own thing.
However I have anxiety and as such will not stop thinking about this until I either do it or ask people about it. So. Do y'all think that sounds like a good idea.
(You can tag your stories in these? I wish I'd realized that sooner that's very useful.)
That sounds perfect, and if I was any better of a powering through my writing blocks, how I'd do it.
I've seen the most effective way is to get people to follow your as an author so that they see blog posts and new story posts. Also, make sure you mark your new stories as sequels to the original, even if its not technically sequentially related and edit your authors notes on the last chapter of the previous story to link to the next one.
Also, I would love to see a "making up" epilogue with Cadence on the original story, but that's of course your call.
You can just title it short story's of the life of chrissy and twi and put them all into one thing so instead of loads of story's people have to find they can track the one and see when it updates
