Hello again, it’s only been, lemme check… two months?! Well… uh, whoops. So much for consistent posting.
As I predicted, Planetfall ate my month. It’s pretty good, if you like tactical turn-based combat you should check it out (although if you played Age of Wonders 3 you’ll find it pretty familiar.) And then I heard about Kerbal Space program 2, and suddenly KSP1 ate my other month. I also started taking some classes, which ate what little time I had left. My time has teeth marks all over it these days.
One of the new groups on fimfiction started a little writing contest, so I threw together a quick scene about what caused Celestia to finally admit she wants to retire. That’s my new story, 40 Generations. By necessity, it takes place somewhere right before the season 9 opener and after Cozy’s little escapade. It did not explode the way The Alicorn Limit did, which doesn’t surprise me. That still sort of boggles my mind.
Ash of Fallen Stars is nearing completion (of part 1), despite my setbacks. Although I, sigh, sill don’t have an editor or a cover.
The Alicorn limit has predictably (finally) stopped growing, and it’s leveled out somewhere north of 1200 views. Mask of Despair is slowly clawing it’s way up toward 300. And something weird is happening… Elements of Tyranny is getting more views? That feels strange, it’s almost caught up to The Gift. EoT wasn’t written very well, I shifted tones frequently, and didn’t pay close attention to the tense I was using. But on the plus side, Nightmare Night Knightmare finally hit 100 views, yay. … I feel that one could use a little more attention.
