Okay, so I really didn't want to do this, but I have a good reason so bear with me while I explain.
For the time being, I'm going to halt scheduled weekly updates to Local, and probably fully finalise the last half of the story before I post again.
Put simply, Local is likely the story of mine of which I'm the most proud, and it's high water marks, chapters like Islands and Pain, came from seriously throwing myself into the story and taking the proper time it deserves. Committing to a certain upload schedule was good at first, but I feel like it's making me rush more than I'm comfortable doing. At this point, I want to make sure the story gets the proper care and attention I feel it deserves.
Something very important I want to clarify:
Is the story going on an official hiatus?
No. Not at all. I am not talking about taking months away, I'm talking about removing the weekly upload date while I finish the story to make sure it gets the care it needs. The story is already fleshed out fully. I can tell you everything that happens from the last depicted scene until the last word. But a story like local features a lot of musing on concepts as well as the story and that's as much a part of the experience. I want to make sure all facets are done right.
So, to all who have been reading along, please bear with me as I finish off these last few bits and give you the ending as it was truly envisioned. I really appreciate your patience and the very kind words many of you have left on the story. Stand by, the end is imminent.
