I was wondering if anyone out there would be okay with doing me a favor. I'm sure many of my followers out there are familiar with my story "You Call That A Costume?" by now. Anyway, I thought it would be good to spread word about it and get a lot more attention if it had a cover art. Therefore, I'm wondering if somebody would be willing to draw one for my story.
What I was thinking of is a pic of the Rainbooms in the costumes they wore in my story. I'd okay with them either as their regular selves, or in their transformed states.
Regrettably, I'm afraid I can't pay for a commission, so I was hoping someone would be willing to do this for free. Please note that you won't be compensated for your efforts. The author who does it will receive full credit for the cover pic and will be allowed to post it on their Deviantart and do whatever they'd like with it, in exchange for letting me use it for a cover page. I'm hoping somebody out there would be willing to do this favor for me out of the goodness of their heart.

lemme get this straight. You expect people, strangers who have their own things to do. to take time out of their lives to draw YOU something and not get anything in return? no money, no nothing? by 'author' I assume you mean you mean the 'artist', but still your request is very unreasonable.
Will you write someone a very complex, 50K word story that's time consuming, for free? I'd think not. Lemmie give you a suggestion. offer to write stories for artists instead of money, you may find a few more out there who may be willing.
