This story is something I originally wanted to do a number of years ago, a little bit after Rainbow Rocks came out, and it was all the rage to show Sunset with that lovely looking horse in that music video. I kept telling myself I'd do it, but believe I was working on something else at the time, and eventually became so busy that the fad passed and I figured nobody would want to read it anymore.
Cut to years later, Moon Pearl (the artist who drew my horse OC with her adorable tired and grumpy face) are talking about random stuff, I bring up the abandoned story idea, and she tells me that it's a beautiful story idea that I should do anyway. And that's what I've been doing for the past few months, working on a story I'd pretty much left abandoned for years until recently. It's getting close enough to completion now that I think I can post a short preview of it. Hopefully it'll be done shortly after Halloween (God, I really hate when I have stories ready to publish around holidays).
Just breathe, Sunset told herself with each step she and Applejack took toward the stables, I know you’ve been dreaming of this for months and never thought it would actually happen, and it’s actually happening, but you need to keep your wits about you or you might ruin the whole thing. Just take slow, deep breaths, and get a hold of yourself.
Several yards behind the Apple Family house, another structure could be seen, one story high but still about as big as the house they lived in. Sunset had visited this place several times with Applejack, its interior imprinted onto her mind. She knew that they only had to travel four rows down and to the right, and she’d be face to face with the stud of her dreams.
The moment Applejack opened the door and lit the lantern on the wall, the sound of rustling through grass and slight nickering was heard throughout the place.
“Ssh, quiet down, y’all,” Applejack said as she and Sunset passed each horse standing up to look at the visitors after dark, “I know it’s a little strange for us to be here this time of night, but it ain’t nothin’ y’all need to worry about. Just head on back to sleep now, ya hear?”
“Hey guys,” Sunset said as she waved to each horse looking at her, “Trotting Ground, Grazy Daze, Hoof-Hearted, how’s everybody doing?” Each horse she passed by gave an appreciative snort, happy to see a friend of theirs passing by. “Glad you’re all doing well. I know I should stay and chat, but I can’t stay for very long. There’s something I came here to do…” Just as the words left her mouth, she turned her head and felt her throat tighten. Poking his head out of his stable, she locked her sight onto the black eyes she’d fallen so hard for, the lengths of his coal black mane dangling over his face and his neck.
“Lonestar…” Sunset whispered with a crack in her voice. Without thinking twice, she broke into a light scamper past Applejack, who could only watch on as she approached the stallion and wrapped her arms around his neck. Immediately after embracing him, she turned her face toward his and kissed him on the cheek, causing his face to freeze as his ears flicked a few times.“Hey — hi, big guy. I can’t tell you how happy I am to see you right now” she said as she ran her hands through his mane and rubbed her face against his cheek. “Heh, I know, I’m usually not this affectionate with you. The thing is, AJ and I did some talking today, and… she knows how I feel about you now,” Sunset said, feeling her face grow warm as she and the stallion glanced at Applejack, averting her eyes and kicking the dirt as she let her and Lonestar have their moment together.
“It’s okay, she’s not judging. She’s alright with it. That’s part of why she’s here,” she explained, while Applejack tugged her hat down to cover her eyes somewhat. Lonestar’s eyes averted from his owner back to Sunset, before bowing his head toward her waist and sniffing a bit. “That’s right,” Sunset said with a grin, her thighs squeezing together with his snout only a foot away from her, “You’ve probably smelled that from me a number of times before, huh? I’m honestly surprised you never acted on it before with that scent traveling up your nostrils and making your hormones dance like fire,” Sunset continued, running a hand from his face and down the front of his neck, “Well, tonight’s your lucky night. After all of this time, you and I are finally gonna cast our inhibitions to the wind and — .”
“Ahem!” Applejack uttered as she stepped between them, her stern face the same shade of a red delicious apple, “I know y’all are both excited ‘bout this, but before ya get carried away, we gotta get outta this stable and away from the house so we don’t risk gettin’ caught. Far. Away.”
“Oh… right,” Sunset said with a sheepish grin, before Applejack unlocked the stable and opened the door in front of Lonestar. She noticed her eyes glancing downward for only a moment before she grumbled slightly.
“Well, not that I doubted it, but he sure seems ‘bout as excited as you are,” Applejack said, prompting Sunset to look down as well. Dangling down under his belly with an upward twitch now and then was Lonestar’s jet black cock, a few prominent veins visible along the base and underneath the ridges of the rounded head at the top.
“Oh my gosh!” Sunset squealed as she eyed up his length, feeling her underwear squish from the dampness collecting at the front. “Um, Applejack?” she asked as the farmer holding his reigns stepped past her, holding her hand outright. “May I?” Applejack looked at the reigns she held, thought for a moment and then shrugged.
“Go ahead,” she relented before dropping them in her hand, “Ya proved more than once ya know what you’re doin’.” Sunset’s smile remained as she took the reigns, turning her face downward to take another look at the bouncing rod underneath Lonestar.
“I know, I can barely keep it together myself, handsome,” she said as she rubbed his back and scratched his coat just above the base of his tail, “Just be patient for a little longer, and it’ll all be worth it. I promise. Ah, I can’t believe it, this is actually happening!”
“I can’t believe this is happenin’ either,” Applejack muttered under her breath as she led the two out of the stables.
