To anyone who reads or writes fanfiction, I really think this is important to read. It's an article written by Seanan McGuire, for those who don't know her name she's an award-winning author, most notably of the October Daye series, which is the lady's answer to Harry Dresden (mother forgive me because I do love the series, but Dresden Files is a little chauvinist and not always on purpose) among dozens of other books.
She wrote this article: The Bodies of the Girls Who Made Me: Fanfic and the Modern World
Interesting; thanks.
And I don't think I realized just how much anti-fanfiction stigma there apparently is out there.
Ok al Check it out in a bit
