That Time I Started a Doctor Who Fanfic · 12:44am Sep 26th, 2019
Is that Pony/Doctor era over? Because I wasn't a Doctor Who fan back then.
But I am now. Have been, for a while. And then I started out a fanfic, which I lost. Too bad, because it was pretty funny and I don't write funny often.
So, it was originally about this lot and the Human Horses:
Which it will stay, because 11 and the Ponds have the most capacity to mesh well with more characters (like how River joined in; three's already a crowd but even after four all the characters played so well off each other and had their own sort of arcs).
But watching this:
Showed me a dynamic style I want to explore. Not with a crossover (tbh, I think crossovers should be done very sparingly), but like. Just the way the personalities pop alone and burst together.
And. Well, yeah.
I dunno why I bring this up now. Guess I thought I'd try and put my foot in the door of the closing show and fandom that is My Little Pony by, like, having a voice, small as it is. I don't know what the state of this site will be after the finally comes and goes, but I joined pretty late, so I'll do my best to lay down the foundation for a legacy, I guess.
And that starts with becoming a visible part of the community. Or, maybe I want to be remembered, and I want the show to be remembered, and I want to remember that it was a part of me once.
Anyhow, rambling over. Just don't be alarmed if I throw up an arbitrary blog post every now and then.
Cheers until the next one, lads.
