    Some Whisper and Starlight arts.

I entirely forgot to post these up, but Alienz_Tea over on Reddit made some beautiful pictures of Whisper and Starlight that I wanted to share!

First up is Starlight, looking all perky and ready to go! And of course she has to have her Lancer, which Alienz_Tea gave a unique and very detailed take of!

    Non-pony writing and titles

So I haven't done any new pony-words in a while, but I've still been writing. In fact, I've got a story that I'm hoping to get professionally published. Probably still a while away, even if things were to go miraculously smoothly, but it's a possibility that I'm really psyched about. There's just one problem:

I'm not sure what to title it.

    The Chrysalis translation (Spanish)

So there's another translation of The Chrysalis in the works! Bloo-D00 has started the impressive task of translating the story to Spanish on their DeviantArt account ( https://www.deviantart.com/bloo-d00/gallery/all ). They've already got the first 18 chapters out, which is some impressive work!

    The Chrysalis translation (Russian)

The Fallout: Equestria fandom seems to have a sizable Russian-speaking population, so MrBrightsideTF2 has started the impressive task of translating my story into the Russian language! I've got to admit, I'm rather flattered that someone would go through that sort of effort for my story!

    No more books.

Well, it was a good run. Lulu just sent out a message stating that they will not allow fanfiction, in any form, to be sold through their site, even privately, and that they're shutting down my account there. As of now, every book is offline.

Misprints · 10:38pm Sep 25th, 2019

So one of the people who had bought a copy of Without a Hive had a printing issue where some of the words were randomly made italic. It was a problem that had cropped up before, but I had thought fixed. Apparently, this wasn't the case. It seems that the books weren't printing consistently, despite using the same PDF. Most seem to have printed just fine, but some (I'm only aware of one, though there might be more) had random italics throughout. I've been in contact with Lulu support, who believe it was an issue with the PDF not saving correctly, so they re-saved the file (And all the other books') in Acrobat Pro to ensure it was using the same standards that they designed their system around, and the copies printed since then seem to have been fixed. I'm still a little concerned about they could print two books from the same file and get different results, but it looks like they solved the problem.

It looks like there weren't many copies affected, but if you got one of the misprints, I'm very sorry :fluttercry: Please, contact Lulu support. They've been good about getting fixed replacements out.

That just means they have rare special collector's editions. :V

I'd like them to be as rare as possible. :twilightsheepish:

It was probably a problem on their end.

that's one way to look at it lol. I'll keep that in mind if I ever need the money, bidding starts at $40.

Oh it's 100% their fault. Pheonix is underselling it a bit, over half the book is messed up, that's not something you miss in test prints and there's no way that it should have shipped. They flat out told me that they don't do any quality control on the print quality when I asked them, in fact the QA people are specifically told not to check that.

Yeah! Me too!

My signed and numbered #1 should be the only one printed in all-italics! :rainbowlaugh:

5128228 I wouldn't expect them to have any QC, they're not about to thumb through every book they print. What I meant was, it was probably a computer error on their part, not a lack of QC. Still their fault lol
