I for one find this fantastic!

I'm not one for receiving anonymous praise.

To me personally, it's simply a glowing green or red light.

Not to say, I never upvote others.

If I enjoy the story, I add it to my favorites, leave a like if it's desired and above all leave a comment.

I adore comments, I find interaction from somebody who enjoyed my story far more interesting than a quick upvote.

This is just my opinion on the matter of course.

So if you did like my story or simply have something to say.

Please I'd be delighted to read and reply.

Glad I could help! I agree with you 100%. And it's rare to find folks here who think this way. I don't need to hit the featured box. I'm secure enough with who I am that I don't my ego stroked. Besides, being featured isn't necessarily a sign that a story is good, but rather that it appeals to a large group of people. Featured is just a way of saying 'most popular' and I've never been a fan of popularity contests. As for dislikes, I find them completely unnecessary. How useful is a dislike compared to a comment offering constructive criticism with tips on how to improve?

Indeed.

I never hit the dislike button, I try to offer a helping note if I can instead.

As for likes, I'll give them if the author wishes it.

Though personally, I find them a tad over-glorified.

Happy to have run across someone like minded, if I'm not mistaken.

I have a story of yours in my read laters, I still must enjoy.
