Nah.
So I owe the lot of you an explanation. See Chapter 15 has been sitting partially finished since... *checks notes* May, and it was started in February. In my defense, I had a lot of stuff going on.
See, as many of you may have recalled, I was a college student for the last two years. The final semester, from January to April, I was bogged down with a whole lot of group work and assorted troubles, and as a result, I didn’t end up doing a lot of consistent writing. Then there was the whole work term from April to partway through May. June, July, and August—you know after grad—when I was off and relaxing, I was either suntanning and breaking in my new bikini, or trying and failing to get any real writing done.
The thing is that Chapter 15 was a really hard chapter for me to write. Hell, I only finished it this afternoon and I’d still like to go over it one or two more times before I release it. I wanted to get it right, and I had to think hard about where I wanted to go from the spots I’d written to. That said, I’m quite happy with what I finally managed to write. From there, I have a good idea where I want to continue the story to. Chapter 16 will end ‘the hunt’ story arc, and then, depending which way I wanna take it, we can see one of two results. Penny going to the Crystal Empire, or return of the Changelings.
I’ll take some time this evening to go over chapter 15, and then depending how I’m feeling, it’ll go up either tonight or tomorrow.
