Hey there, folks! Sorry about how long it took this chapter to come out! I'm finally leaving the intricately-planned-and-mulled territory of the story and delving into the things-I-need-to-flesh-out-in-more-detail realm, which is forcing me to slow down a little and line up all the little arcs I have written down. Thank you all for the positive and critical feedback for the last few chapters! It lets me know y'all are still on board with this adventure. :)
It also helps that I've finished the majority of my driveway repair project which, let's face it, isn't as easy as those YouTube homeowner tutorials make it out to be when you're just one gal living with her cat. In spite of it all, I got that sucker nice and smooooth and ready for seal coating. Oh yeah. Gonna ruin me a 3rd pair of tennies. XD
