    I'm Going to EFNW

Pretty much right what it says in the subject line.

For once, I'm not going to be doing a ton of panels! I'll be on Pony Break 2: Scripting at the Speed of Sound and maybe a few improv events, but I'm mostly going to hang out.

Let me know if you want to chill, or for me to sign a book or something.

    Contest Story Reviews pt 2

You remember that Friendship is Optimal writing contest? We've already declared the winners, but you know, there were a lot of really good stories in that contest! More good stories than prizes. So it's time for me to review stories that didn't win, but which I nonetheless loved.

Specifically, this week, I'll be promoting:

    FiO Writing Contest Results

Fillies and gentlecolts! The long delayed resolution of the Friendship is Optimal writing contest is here at last. The stories have been read, the judges have been polled, and the pollsters are little horses, and so it's time to award our prizes.

My Stories Are Now in Book Form! · 1:59am Sep 7th, 2019

All the books I sold at the Bronycon Bookstore can now be ordered online! You can now be the proud owner of:

Around The World in 81 Days
When Twilight and Celestia have an argument about the existence of leap years, there’s only one possible way to settle their differences: a race around the world! With the full benefit of hindsight, there may have been other ways.

Thousand Yard Stare
The collected short stories of GaPJaxie, including stories about philosophy, life, and little magical horses. Sometimes sad, sometimes funny, always thought provoking.

Roll Credits
In a world where My Little Pony is a live action TV show, meet the six actors who play the main cast. Star Power isn't Twilight Sparkle, but she does play her on TV!

The Third Wheel
Twilight and Shining Armor have a little sister named Light Step. Everypony tells Light Step how lucky she is to be related to such great heroes. Light Step wishes she could smother them both.

Or, you could read them online for free, but who does that?

Nice! Did you fix those typos in 81 days? :ajsmug:

What are you doing with the copies of The Thid Wheel, by the way? :)

Niiice... I'm jelly.

I'm noticing that the "Roll Credits" one has them in clothes... Are clothes normal in that world? I don't remember them mentioning it being odd to be naked on TV...

...Though that would be really interesting for them to mention...

I added your page to my list of links. I've read Roll Credits *twice* since I got back from Bronycon now.

Books for the book god!

Ragghagha. That was such a pain in the ass. Everyone who ordered a copy of the Third Wheel should have gotten the shipment email by now. Did I miss you?

That's them winning their Equus Award for Best Prime-Time TV Show! They're all in formal wear. :D

Woo-hoo! :D

I really should write Girls Night Out at some point and capstone that series.

5117290 A night of epic drinking and partying, where they wake up sprawled across Star Power's living room rug, and Star gets to deal with her first hangover?

They go out for drinks!

Star is annoyed she gets carded.

Butter Up is annoyed she doesn't get carded.

Ah, my copy is limited edition then

Oh, no, I got it (and replied, though with nothing super important, which appears to have been good since the reply seems to have been missed (no worries about that, either, though; I expect you've a lot going on email-wise)).
I was just wondering. :D

Or, you could read them online for free, but who does that?

Ponies without enough drones to do it for them, that’s who.

oh i bought one of these
