Animal Crackers (2019) Trailer Review · 2:30pm Sep 1st, 2019

My 7th trailer review. And my 3rd to be on a trailer promoting an animated film.

Gee, once again it's been a while since I last did one. The last trailer review I did, I found, was on July 11, 2019.

But, anyway, this review is on a trailer promoting an upcoming animated film called "Animal Crackers", which was apparently held off from being distributed worldwide for up to two years.

Before I say what I think of it, take a gander at it for yourselves first:

Now, onto what I think of this trailer:

Ever since I first heard about this movie, I've been interested in it for quite some time. Particularly because the story sounded like something pretty fresh and different, and because of the ensemble cast that's involved in bringing the characters to life, such as Danny DeVito, Patrick Warburton, and Ian McKellen.

When I saw this trailer for the film be released for the very first time, I immediately couldn't help but think of how sweet this film looked to be. I was also amused by the trailer's showing of the film's sense of fun, humor, and heart, and so I couldn't help but find myself all-the-more interested in seeing this film at some point.

I will admit, the animation certainly doesn't look to be the most groundbreaking compared to the likes of Pixar and Dreamworks, but then...I also see that it likely wasn't the production team's intention to be like the latter two studios.

So, do I think that this could be a film worth everyone's time?

Certainly. Especially when you're looking for something like this movie.

What do you guys think?

I was reminded of the Three Stooges movie from the name alone.

Because... That's the name of one of their movies.

Actually that was a film starring the Marxx Brothers.

Danny DeVito leading a troupe of circus performers?

I seem to remember seeing that somewhere else...

This looks sweet and touching.
