The one where Angel's arc is finally complete.
You guys... we never have to see this little demon ever again.
Okay, okay, okay! We got a reason to celebrate for this episode! Not only does Angel finally complete his arc that started probably in season 1 (I don't want to go back and check) but it's also probably the last time we ever get to see this little rabbit. WOOHOO! Honestly, I haven't seen the leaks, so don't spoil anything.
But yeah, this episode was pretty entertaining. From the get-go, the showrunners remind why we all hate Angel. Messing up Fluttershy's animal sanctuary (remember, everyone, that's a thing still) is just cruel at this point. In order to properly understand each other's position, Fluttershy and Angel go to Zecora in order to swap bodies to see what it's like in the other's shoes. Bit of a Freaky Friday or something (haven't seen that movie in years, but Doctor Wolf reminded us all what it was). Not only do we get to finally hear what Angel speaks like, but also that he listened in on Fluttershy's personal conversations with herself. Apparently, she wants to marry Discord, so all the Fluttercord shippers can go wild. Angel nearly kills and tortures every animal at the sanctuary, and they all lived happily ever after.
Overall, pretty fun episode. 8/10. What where your thoughts?
Well, Angel certainly has never truly lived up to his name, but then again was there any idea he would? Great episode too!
The episode itself was good, but there is one thing about it that really bothered me. It pretty much says that Shy feeds her carnivores in the sanctuary a herbivore diet. That is very unhealthy for carnivores and this is especially a problem since it’s in a kids show where it could teach kids that it’s fine to feed animals like that. Now Shy did say while they were at the sanctuary to eat carrots, so the predators could just leave to hunt but still. It’s weird because Shy has fed her animals fish and worms so she isn’t this naive. I’m just going to chalk it up to that she was a bit too tired and didn’t know what she was doing.
Other than that yeah it was a fun episode. It was interesting to see what Angle is thinking and having him interact with other ponies. A bit of missed opportunity of him not talking to the mane six or Discord but still fun.
Still kind of a dick move to let Bunny Shy go through the Everfree forest of death by herself.... then again Zecora does the same thing so maybe bunnies are just more hardcore in this universe than ours.
It was no secret that Angel Bunny was never one of my favorite characters, the facts being that he treated Fluttershy like a doormat initially, he acted like a spoiled brat who wants everything about him, and sometimes I wonder why Fluttershy put up with that for so long. But never let it be said he never 'tried' to warn Fluttershy about the smoke on the mountain, when she was running late to hang with her friends to see Celestia... Or even when he saved Fluttershy when she was in his body due to exhaustion. Does it excuse the fact that he was a jerk most of the series? No, not exactly. But he's not the only one who needed a reality check on himself...
We often wondered just how difficult it would be for Fluttershy to manage both her job as a teacher, running the shelter, or having 'any' life at all when she's not saving the world. One would assume that Fluttershy was being neglectful to an animal who'd only talk to her, but she can relate to the parents who are under the pressure of balancing a tight schedule with bonding time. It took a potion for the two to see things from each other's eyes, even though Angel nearly destroyed her own sanctuary to realize what he had done is wrong. In the end, they both had some understanding about how hard both of their lives are and in turn Angel needed to know he can always find others to talk to besides Fluttershy (Least he decided to help run the sanctuary). Although how do you think Fluttershy would feel that Angel blabbed about her desire to marry Discord if she didn't want any pony to know about it?
Anyways, I admit it was a 'fun' episode in an attempt to do a 'Freaky Friday' story in 22 minutes (Far shorter than the other versions I've seen). It had some fun, we got to see Angel's personality and a 'voice' in a sense, and in the end we got another closure. Course, unlike voicing concern that Diamond Tiara disappeared after her arc is complete based on the comments alone it doesn't seem like Angel Bunny will be missed (Unless a later episode says otherwise). I think Fluttershy would be better off with that Moochick's rabbit friend.
I agree 100% on the episode. But I still dont remember Angel saying anything about Fluttershy wanting to marry Discord...

Would you believe me if I told you that I completly skipped this episode by mistake ? Because I totally did ! Anyway , since I just saw it , it means that this review will be a little more precise than the usual .
First , I have to agree with mostly everything you say because , well , I agree to it (wow , such deep talk) . Expect that I don't really dislike Angel that much for the simple fact that he has so little screen time in the entire series .
Even if I didn't liked the idea at the start (body changing etc is not very original and can easily go very wrong) but now that I saw the episode , I won't lie that I really liked it !
Sure , the plot isn't original and all but has I say often , it's not the size that counts , it's the way you use it ! Wait no wrong one...
It's not the idea that counts , it's the way you use it ! There , that's the one !
And this episode is the perfect exemple of that ! Classic plot , classic ending but original way of doing it and it also helps developing the characters (in this case , Fluttershy and , even if we don't care about him , Angel) andd their lives .
Now , since I would probably end up repeating myself if I continue , let's get to the
worstbest thing here : The Cuteness Ladder !Ok , I will go straight to the point , this episode has so much cute moments that the ladder overloaded halfway throught , but for the simple fact that this absolute heart melting machine of a Fire Lizard is in the episode , it gains an easy 20/10 !
Edited segement : I totaly forgot about this but now that I read the other comments , I remembered the fact that Fluttershy does give vege food to carnivores and I don't appreciate that for the same reasons has the comments below me says...
All around , this episode was great and one that I will definitly watch again from time to time , they REALLY want us to remember this season with all those good episodes , uh ? I could say that the "I repeat exactly what you say because the audience can't understand what you say" is a little much in this episode but it is necesary so I don't really mind . Now , I know some people will disagree with me for the fact that the episode was focused on Angel but has said , I don't mind that much about him and that's why I give this episode a
17/20 !
Great episode has said earlier a billion times already BUT , some little details could have been better implemented or changed (I mean , if it was at least trying to be realistic , the snake would have split his skull by trying to swallow the elephant , the elephant would have died because of stomach acid and would have died again because THERE ARE FREAKING KEYS IN HIS NOSE SO HE CAN'T BREATH !)
PS:Damn that review was a shit fest , sorry for that but has said earlier , I just saw the episode so some things didn't register too well (yeah , I always have a crappy excuse) and I am still wondering how the F I missed this one when I saw all of them till episode 21 ...
Oh well , it ain't really a problem anyway since the last day before school restarts , I'll watch the entire season in one go (and that day is tomorow has I write this) . And don't worry , I won't spoil anything , I ain't that kind of guy , especially when it comes to the series ending .

Yeah, I agree. I always like it in stories, where people let Fluttershy be smart enough to realize that predator/prey relationships are just how they have to live.
