I haven't written anything related to fanfiction, or any type of prose, in over five years. That's actually why I've been avoiding this site for so very long. Partially out of having nothing to actually post, but also embarrassment. At first, it was just college, but then it became something else. I love writing, and cannot believe I ever stopped. And... well rather than go into great detail, I feel it's easier to just link to a twitter thread where I've already explained this:

The final point? I'm back, baby. Though I fear my long absence has made people angry or ambivalent. I hope people are interested in seeing me continue all this. There's a good chance I'm extremely desperate for approval.
Just was surprised (and delighted) to see a new chapter of Sibling Rivalvry after 5 years. Welcome back! I just buried the fic in my thoughts. Glad it has come back to the living.

Seriously, though, good to have you back. I'll admit the one I really want to see continue is Sibling Rivalry. Hoping you get more inspiration!

Should have commented this the moment it showed you returned--I've been grateful that Dibling Rivalry still is one of favorites, so to get a notification that it was updated was a genuine surprise. Anyway it's good to see you return BlackWidower; there have been so many that moved on, but it awesome to see a vet and a legend return...
