Time, that is. And the human mind. And how, sometimes, you can forget about something completely, until something else jogs you're memory. How you can go years never even thinking about something, then come back to it as if you never left?
It's strange, isn't it? How people change. How things we used to like become objects of shame. How we try to pretend things didn't happen, while simultaneously missing little aspects of them. How you can see something your past self did and wonder "What would make a person say that?"
In case it wasn't obvious, I'm on fimfiction again. I know that doesn't really make a difference to most people, that to many, my absence went unnoticed. Regardless, I felt like writing something. Like doing something. Something to symbolize that I'm actually making a choice ad committing to it.
Fimfiction doesn't really seem like my thing, since I'm not really into mlp anymore, but I still like reading some of the stories from time to time anyway. So, for the time being, I'm back.
