Final Episodes Leaked... · 9:00pm Aug 25th, 2019
I'll try to keep this as spoiler-free as possible...
So, the new episodes were leaked yesterday in the Netherlands, meaning there are a bunch of screenshots up if you know where to look. Realizing I'm probably going to have a breakdown when I watch them, I decided to spoil some the plot for myself and look at them. I'm now contemplating lying on the floor for the next few hours, because, wow, just wow.
Not only do they pretty much wrap up the main plotlines, but the final episode involves a lot of time-skipping to show them over the next few decades, which will be extremely useful for some of the Fanfiction I'd like to write before the year ends. I like that they did that, because it gives us a canon answer to "what happens to these characters after the show ends?" We get to see how they grow and move forward with their lives, what the students do as adults, and who marries who...
I cried a little, and I'm real excited to actually see it, even if I wasn't happy with how every plot thread was wrapped up...
I'm gonna feel both happy and sad that the show is drawing to a close. I'm gonna miss 'hem.
Ya know, I keep imagining that Pinkie Pie or Discord is gonna do something when the show closes. Also imagine from Pinkie's perspective that everything went black or everybody just disappears after the show. Why Pinkie because she's the oddest character there and breaks the fourth wall and knows more than she let on.
It would make a sad story though. In the end Pinkie gets the chance to relive everything through the whole show but at the cost she has to give up all her memories throughout the whole series.

Like I said, I only looked because I knew I would have a pretty strong emotional reaction when I saw them, I just didn't expect it to be this strong when all I was doing was peeking ahead...
